i don't really think that Mark is shallow. he showed that he wants to be more than a man-whore, he does have a feelings.

and Cristina can cope with someone's BS like no other, and actually beat them with her down-to-earth attitude. so for me they are perfect match

I want Mark and Xtina to get together too. I think that he has gone thru everyone else, so I could see this as a def possibility. Maybe they'll hook up when they are doing Best man/Maid of Honor duty.
