They aren't friends at this point though so it's not like Evan has to be supportive. But I do find it a bit jerky as well, it doesn't really seem necessary for him to go up and rub it in just for the hell of it. Cappie throwing a muffin at him isn't really the same as Evan playing on Cappie's biggest insecurities by telling him he knew he'd screw things up with the girl he loves, and that she was always going to leave and he'd be all alone.

Looking forward to the Dale/Ashleigh stuff, sounds fun

I'd think Dale would jump at the chance to hang around Casey every day

Also, anyone ever think that Evan does it to give Cappie a push and get him to talk about it, knowing that if he actually went up and told that to Cappie, as if he was giving him advice, Cappie would be childish and not listen to him, and probably do the exact opposite. Whereas if Evan calls him out on it, and says it harshly, it got the point across to Cappie to stop being immature and man up or he was gonna blow it again.

This. From what I've seen, Cappie has been the one mentioning about how he hates Evan and blahblah whereas Evan hasn't gone out of his way to bother Cappie. Evan knows Cappie hates him (whatever his reasons may be) and he seems pretty 'whatever' about it. Why should he have to beg Cappie for forgiveness and do everything Cappie wants? He's allowed to have his own opinion. He's not going out of his way to sabatoge C/C. He's just not about to bend over backward in order to satisfy Cappie.

I think people are thinking way too far into this. Really, Evan doesn't seem to give a crap about C/C as a couple. He wants to be friends with Casey again because they were friends until whatever happened and she was angry with him (mainly because of Cappie) and Evan thought that was stupid for her to be mad just because Cappie was. That's pretty logical and normal. Idk, I just think people are thinking way too much into it and are paranoid that he's out to ruin them when he's not.

I like Cappie/Evan more than Cappie/Casey and Casey/Evan so, yeah, it sucks that they aren't 'friends' right now but whatever. Cappie is clearly the one who is choosing for it to be that way and I don't see any reason why Evan should have to try and be nice toward him still after it's clear that Cappie isn't interested. Cappie isn't a saint either.

I'm pretty sure Cappie made the decision to NOT be Evan's friend for a good reason.

And not because of Evan's "advice."

Something else must have happened.

When Evan told Cappie AGAIN that it's not a good idea to get back with Casey in episode 10, Cappie was not upset with him.

Yet, reading the info for episode 11, there is a HUGE animosity between them. So something must have happened at the end of the episode.

And again, this is my opinion. I read a ton of script pieces by now to kind of tell who is being a jerk.

Every single episode includes Evan getting into the Cappie and Casey business.

In every way possible.

And this opinion is coming from me who actually likes Evan with Rebecca. And I think they are or will be getting together. Yet, I'm still not thrilled with Evan rubbing into Cappie's face at every chance that Casey will leave. That's rude.

I really hope they don't use a "more mature goal orientated" man, meaning the lawyer, to try and break Cappie and Casey up. That would be just a different version of Evan. Not that I'm against Evan, I actually have LOVED the past few episodes of Evan/Casey just friends interactions. I think it's been done really well, cute, and funny at the same time. I wish it would just stay like that.
