Hopefully that's true. I think that would be the best direction for her character, honestly. I loved that storyline so much, until it just turned into "I'm rebelling against my father" and had nothing to do with fashion anymore.

On the Serena note... I'm a little disappointed in the fact that they had Blair just excuse her going off with Tripp in the end. He's still married, and "leaving his wife" isn't the same as "left" or "separated" or "divorced from," lol.... I just think that the writers messed up by having Blair just tell her to go with him, knowing what it was like to have her father leave her mother for someone else.

It's like the writers are making it okay for Serena to be with a married man because the fans are disliking her so much for it.

I think fashion is a vital part of Jenny but if they bring it back they better come up with an interesting storyline involving it. I feel like they fail so much with Jenny because they don't put enough work into what they're creating for her. She's third rank on the female scale for the show so her stories never get top notch drama it seems. That's why I'm so excited for the drug storyline I feel like FINALLY they're doing something with her that I can get behind. Finally we're seeing something with long ranging repercussions. I just hope they don't wimp out and follow this all the way through. I also hope they let Damian look as yummy as he does in real life. He was not as cute as I find him off the show, so the stylists need to get to work and amp it up if this is going to be some kind of romance/fling. Or perhaps he will just be her suppliers, mentor, whatever. Either way I need to see more of that development.

I think the writers know Serena is acting ridiculous, otherwise people wouldn't be reacting so badly to it on the show. And they've set up Nate as this classic romantic hero who literally rides into her rescue next episode and punches Tripp. It's clearly not a "romance" for ST, it's an awful affair that has consequences. I would have preferred for Blair to not even be involved but I think they wanted SB on good terms and just brushed it under the carpet. It's unfortunate but I could see Blair the romantic at least wanting to buy that Tripp wasn't going to rip Serena's heart apart since Serena was so determined to continue this farce with him.

i thought the jenny fans we're respectful....

but the one saying all Blair fans hate all other woman was very disrespectful. say what you want about the characters, but when people start attacking each other personally it bothers me

Blair had just promised Serena she was going to be there for her, and she already tried the no talking thing. At the end of the day Serena will do what she wants to do like she did the first time they talked about Tripp. Blair understood this. What else could she do?

I think Blair saw she needed Serena to make the mistake and fall so she could learn. Aprt from physical restraint, Blair had no options, but I do get what you're saying and some people could see it like that I just wrote my interpretation

Yeah I'm really excited for the Jenny drug storyline too, and pretty much everything coming up in the second half of the season. IMO, Taylor is one of the best actors on the show, so I like that she will be getting some good material.

Yeah, I felt the same way about that scene. I wondered if Blair did that because of what Chuck had said to Nate earlier in the episode - that Serena would do what she wants to do and that trying to get through to her was kinda' pointless or if Blair just felt bad for her and wanted to support her no matter what?? I'm not sure, but I wish she just would have continued to tell her to wake up already and admit to what she was doing...I didn't like that she told her to go at all

I didn't find anything wrong with the discussion either except the generalizations and that was offensive to me because I'm a Blair fan who at one point in time has liked all the females on this show, and still do to an extent, especially Serena/Vanessa right now, and once Jenny gets into her own storyline away from this ridiculous queen crap I think I'll enjoy her again too.

I think that Blair was just trying to be a supportive friend to Serena even though she knows what Serena was doing was wrong. When it all comes down to it, Blair loves Serena, and she didn't like it when they were estranged and apart again, she she let Serena go off with Tripp, even though Serena's doing that was the worst decision she could have made.
