yeah it kinda erks me that after everything Dan has seen of both C and B he still acts suprised that they have real feelings and problems. I mean after C told him about his mom he should have seen him in a dif. light just like at his dads funeral when C was messed up. and for Blair in the first season and 2x08 when she shared her feelings with Dan. It just confuses me when Dan act suprised by them being Human.

exactly to me the finale told me that cbd came full circle from earlier in the year where d recognizes that they mean something to each other and respects them for who they are.

Hmm, really? I don't think Nate treated him in a particularly bad way though. If anything Dan judged Nate WAY too much for no reason.

IMO this is Josh's fault. Dan did understand Blair and they reached some place, but Josh wanting to prolong the CB reunion as long as he had to started to write rubbish and used Dan to delay it some more, then CB started to turn their love into a long game that got so really bad as a CB fan by the end of the season. But I still can't blame that on Dan, I blame that on bad storytelling,

Exactly.. BTW.. I'm the only that don't see sexual chemistry between Dan and Blair? Yes.. to me they have chemistry but not sexual chemistry.. To be honest i see more sexual tension between Chuck and Dan..

Well I will forever take Dan's side on that. He's worked forever to be the usher at Dartmoth and Nate with his pretty face and a lot of cash took it from him without any effort at all. I understood Dan completely in that episode, I would've been pissed and lashed out too.

I just think despite everything, Dan's fault was being judgemental, but in s2 he's come so far, particularly after Rachel era.

Lets be honest. Dan and Chuck have a very volatile relationship at that point. Dan basically used him to tell a story and realized what he did was wrong and that there is more to chuck than what he thought, but he also doesn't know him. that was incident. he didn't suddenly become bffs with them. What he was was a victim of Vanessa's manipulation and his own natural cynicism. Dan doesn't trust anyone easily. why? Alison! Remember this is a boy whose idea of a loving relationship has been shattered in his face yet he still believes in it. So he wasn't wholly convinced that what they had going on was genuine. Maybe that was misguided of him but i think in his own way he realized it. I think 208 was the turning point for dan as a character....its what got him to be that guy that tried to repair the broken relationship between chuck and bart. who was the guy who quietly walked away at chucks dads funeral and who finally started to see chuck as more than a straight up villain. I think he's always believed that blair was more talk than substance its why he ignores her jabs and just lightly pokes fun at her. he's just not the person he was in 208. people don't change overnight but 205-208 is what helped dan begin to evolve.

I think they have regular normal chem

I see sexual chemistry between CS, or I did in season 1 not anymore, and CB. CD/CN/DN sometimes have a very slashy edge to em'.

The DN fight was really weird for me

And CN in season 1, and that line in 2x21

I like the chemistry between DB, I find they have way more romantic chemistry than any of Nate's pairings, lol. I mainly like all the interactions between CBD. CB, DB and CD
