I honestly dont understand the Dan hate when we have far stupider characters on the show...Nate/Vanessa for instance! I don't care if Nate is pretty, I dont even find his type of pretty attractive and he's written stupidly too so I find no redeeming qualities in him. I mean he intentionally goes out of his way to ruin everyones life and people still accept and love him as part of CBNS when he didnt earn it IMO.

While that may be true, Dan acted out of his own free will. I don't hold Vanessa responsible for that. Dan could have chosen many other methods of "getting back" at CB for what "they did" to Vanessa. As much as I love my friends, I would never sabotage someone's relationship because of what they did to my friend. I might punch that person, or verbally attack them. But not mind games and playing with their insecurities.

Yes, CB might do that to people, but they are aware that's what they do and they don't act like they are above it. That is the difference. If you talk the talk, you've got to walk the walk.

I don't hate Dan, I have in the past but I do think some of his actions are wrong, and I will call him out on it.

Dan is nowhere near the fail that is Nate, but he has done somethings wrong as has every character on this show.

Word bb especially after this season. he had his tripups but he's really grown and totally owns his mistakes imo.

I don't hate Dan at all. I just don't like some of the things he does against the UESers. He doesn't seem to trust them still and it bothers me.

I completely agree about Nate being the stupidest/worst/most awful character aside from Jenny. But that doesn't change the fact that I don't like certain aspects of Dan's character (aspects he has since evolved from, in fact). I enjoy Dan's flaws, though, even when I dislike them. They make up part of his character. Nate, meanwhile, HAS no character. He is a walking plot point and has been since 1.10.
