I love the CD bromance too.

I like their hate/love for each other.

It's good for Chuck if he ever gets into a fight, he can have Dan right there to punch the guy out.

Whether Chuck was mean to Dan or not would never change my feelings on Dan. Not that I think Chuck really did anything Dan didn't deserve that night. Plus Dan is always making comments about Chuck. He even told Blair that someone actually loved Chuck? Like no one could possibly ever love him. I've never liked Dan or his self righteousness.

eta: shu its karma. that's what i said. if you only hang out with someone and only then realize that, oh yeah, he's a human being with feelings JUST LIKE YOU because you want to write a story, then you deserve to get some crap back from the universe. dan wants to use chuck, so chuck makes him pay for it.

CD kicks ass no matter what they do to each other - because there's always some underlying respect and even awe there. CN and DN can never compare because you can't truly respect Nate in any way. And when Nate does things to you, it's because he's only thinking of himself. Whereas CD are thinking about sexy things like vengeance and each other when they do their damage.

I thought it was Vanessa's fault when Dan messed up with CB. IMO if she had not toldl him about 207 and acted like CB were a cancer, then Dan wouldnt have taken CB love to be a game between them. Vanessa is a total screw up, all season she has been fraking up the CB storyline from the get go. I can only hope she stays the hell away from CB next season.

its not about why people like or dislike dan. i was just speaking for myself and why that particular episode bugged me. but we each like or dislike characters adn their actions for diff reasons.
