I think EL will maintain the romantic chemistry because chemistry isnt something that can be elevated by a script. It's either there or it's not, lol. EL are really professsional and it helps they didnt hook up offscreen so the energy onscreen comes out well. But Brooke/Lucas had insane sexual chemistry that never faded in season 3, despite them being a couple.

I think the reason why EL have such smokin chem. is because they are just as good actors. They know how to act in sexy scenes and move their bodies

Exactly. I don't think becoming an on-screen couple will cause them to lose the chemistry - it's being an offscreen couple that's potentially worse for your chemistry. As long as they do more than sit around and giggle together, they will have some great chemistry.
