Blair (Leighton Meester) and Jenny (Taylor Momsen) escalate their popularity war by spreading scandalous rumors about each other through Gossip Girl. Episode 17: Woman on the Verge GEORGINA (GUEST STAR MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG) WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO RUIN SERENA’S LIFE — As a result of Georgina (guest star Trachtenberg) revealing the true reason that Serena (Blake Lively) fled Manhattan for boarding school, Serena falls back into her old habits and Blair (Leighton Meester), Nate (Chace Crawford) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) must put their complicated feelings for each other aside to help their friend. With Rufus (Matthew Settle) never far from her thoughts, Lily (Kelly Rutherford) prepares for her wedding day which is destined to be the Upper East Side’s social event of the year. We will see Rufus' band play. Erik and Jenny's relationship will evolve in BIG, though unspecified, way. According to E!Online, Chuck and Blair are far from over. In fact, they'll be "heating up." Meanwhile, Chuck will have a "moment" with Lydia Hearst's character (an interior decorator) in the season finale. Chuck and Blair will "dance around" each other all season. Dan and Serena start fighting after Dan gets jealous that Vanessa and Nate are together.
