Rectangle chips aren't used just in Europe. They are just extremely high markers that are usually only seen in the tables.

i just watched 'hi, society' and now i'm depressed about how GOOD this show used to be, versus how BAD it is now. like seriously, how?? how the frick did they let that happen. part of me wishes gg were just a 24 or-so episode miniseries so that it could have been flawless from start to finish.
