IMO, Nelly Yuki was them slandering up Blair's character because that was completely separated from who she is and a contrived way for them to give her a storyline since the focused 90% of the big ones on Serena after the strike. I cannot hold poor writing against Blair

You can rationalize a lot of things that both Blair and Chuck did. Blair isn't that much better than Chuck, imo. And whenever Blair is petty or in the wrong, it gets blamed as OOC. Nope, it's canon. Looks like next season with the fashion show is another Nelly Yuki-type moment. You can't just call everyone ooc.

Chuck's actions don't excuse Blair's. They're both horrible in their own rights. The point is they've both done bad. Lately, Blair moreso, imo. At least Chuck was genuinely insecure/scared of commitment and that's why he didn't show up. But Blair? She was straight up petty. She could have studied harder, or retaken the test.

Blair WAS someone who only wronged the people who hurt her, at the start of the series. But as we learned more about her, it isn't the case. At all.

Btw, a rapist is someone who actually, you know, rapes people. And you can't compare the pilot to episode 15. That's crazy. So if the pilot is accurate, Chuck's mother is alive!

NY isn't OOC. Since she is just as petty for no reason next season about the fashion show/poppy/seat switching.

Actually this is also OOC, because imo Blair never goes after someone until they deliberately punk her in some fashion. Now this is another contrivance they have concocted because they would like to expose Serena as a perfect person whose biggest fear is violating her friendship, and in the mean time Blair has to look like an ass to develop their friendship. Once again it is Josh pissing off Blair fans for a failing storyline IMO.

That is hilarious. So everytime they show Blair in an unfavorable light it is OOC, but Chuck is a bastard who doesn't deserve Blair? GMAB.

I'd like to think there is a lot more to this Fashion Show sl. We only got a small piece from a side. I'd like to think they wouldn't write Blair so petty.

All the characters on the show are very flawed, no one is perfect. But that makes the show a lot more interesting.
