Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) sign up to write and star in a school play, based on an idea by Blair and directed by Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). With Blair out of the picture, Serena (Blake Lively) turns to Nate (Chace Crawford) to help her get through a difficult situation. Casting Call

According to Korbi:
- CB is top priority for season 3.

Kristin said what?:
- The threesome will appear again in 3.10, as one character will flashback to it. This character is the only one who remembers is happening.
- Bart is Back!
- There are no current plans to bring back Carter
- An NS pairing is very likely this season.
- CB are GG's Ross & Rachel and will always come back to each other.
- The threesome is Vanessa/Dan/Olivia

Ausiello scoops:
- Bart coming back will be similar to A Christmas Carol
- CB are "(relatively) happy" through episode 11.

- According to Lady Gaga, her performance is shot like a music video and she acts as a narrator for the scene going on before her as she sings "Bad Romance."
- According to Leighton Meester, Chuck and Blair will be pretty on-and-off, but it will be "hot."

- Chuck and Blair will stay a couple throughout the season, but it will be nothing we've ever seen before.

Honestly, I know why people disliked Vanessa in S1, because she got in between DS - and I hated her when she just like invited herself to the party in 112 and then to Blair's house (? dude! you don't do that!) and to Blair's birthday party - but I personally found her way more sympathetic. She still had feelings for Dan and was used to him being on her side about hating the wealthy etc and had to deal with that change, which I think made her own opinions a little more...intense? Because she had to feel twice as much ~righteousness~ since Dan was dating Serena and involved in her world.

But without getting too far into it, because to be honest creating the laundry list of her hypocrisies and inconsistencies bores me, I don't ever really find her OOC because I think she pretty much lacks a character at this point. Her opinions are malleable to the writers' convenience. That's what drives most people's hatred of her, IMO. Being without a real purpose makes her useless and directionless (to me) and I'm not really interested in them finally making her evolve or whatever. At this point everything about her just screams giant contrivance to me so being forced to watch storylines that I know will ultimately go nowhere...not enjoyable.

Lydia: I do think it took them longer to give V drive in the show (apart from her initial D love) but I think esp this season she's found her niche in the cast

She felt like an add-on in S1 to me (that's actually when I like her least - not that I disliked her but I also didn't particularly care about her either). S2 she became very likeable to me and this season, I've been loving her

God, C smoked opium - OPIUM! - in an ep last year but the fuss is about a threesome?
