Yeah, Cecily has definitely said she loves Chuck and CB on the show, but I thought she was joking about putting it in the books, lol. That's just creepy. Chuck was such a loser in the books, it's not even funny.

Even though I did think they had some cute moments

Like the fashion show or when he gave her a ride and let her pet his monkey, lol.

I know me either, but I will be SO pissed if they screwed with the books. It has been clear from the start that the show and the books are not the same, the characters are SO different. I love CB on the show, but they would not work in those books, and DS definitely couldn't either. It was always NSB, and should always be that. UGH. I'm pissed I was going to go buy it, but now no way.

She said she liked Show Chuck and that she didnt realize CB had good potential

It just makes zero sense. I mean I LOVE CB, but them in the books is just... it's not the same characters. They share names and traits but otherwise... just no. I can't believe she'd eff over the book fans NSB was the thing that attracted so much, it was shallow and crazy, but that was popular and where the audience was. Thanks for bringing that over, at least I won't waste money buying it now.

Whitney, DS and CB don't end up together bb

I just asked a couple of NBers, everyone ends single and SB go off to travel for the summer. CB hook up and date for a little bit, but they do NOT end up together.

Yeah, but in that case, Cecily should have offered to write (or oversee, since I doubt she does much writing anymore) TV spin off books, so that she could write some CB while making sense, lol.
Like she could have written stuff between season 1 and 2 on the show, between 2 and 3, or even PRE-PILOT.

However, if CB only hook up, then I accept that. They had some moments - even after he turned gay - and it's honestly not like book Blair has huge standards or anything.

Oh thank God. I can deal with SB and Nate alone, because that always made sense. He could never choose, and neither could they. I always thought they should just run off together they were so damn incestuous. I still think CB even dating is weird, because bookChuck is NOT showChuck. Our Chuck PWNs all. I might check out the book in the book store now, or wait for paperback we shall see. I just want to know if there were any NS moments they were my book ship.

The books just never held any interest to me. I tried to read the first one and didn't finish.I think it's interesting that she wanted to write CB after seeing the show but in the end the tv show is where my interest lies...
