| I wouldn't mind if Serena is a little drunk or troubled and kisses Tripp. However, my concern is if they make her in love with him, or developing feelings for him... Gosh, and I thought the path for NS was clear!! It's a hard life to a NS shipper!! | |||

| I mean I definitely wouldn't hate Serena, but I'd lose a lot of respect for her. Kissing? Not such a big deal - dumb FOR SURE but kissing is something that can happen impulsively. Haven't you ever kissed someone and then 10 minutes later been like DAMN that was a bad idea? But if she sleeps with him...yeah, I'd lose tons of respect. Not only because Nate looks up to him SO MUCH and clearly sees him as a role model more than he does his dad or his grandfather, but the dude is married. She'd be complicit in ruining a marriage. And even if Maureen could do a well enough job of that on her own, Serena has no place involving herself in it. And if she used the old 'well he is so unhappy in his marriage!!!!' to excuse it like A CERTAIN DUMB BROAD NAMED SUZANNE FARRELL ON MAD MEN DID, I would just be gobsmacked by it. So I will remain hopeful that it's just 1. a flirtation and she realizes how awful it is or 2. a kiss and she realizes how awful it is. __________________ long live the punk cabaret! | |||

| I don't think Serena is going to fall in love with Tripp. I think she's just hurt and vulnerable. IMO. Tripp seems like a good guy. Flawed but a good guy all the same. So I think he marries Maureen because he was in love. Or he THOUGHT he was in love. Like Maureen tricked him into thinking he was in love, if that makes any sense. Cause Tripp didn't want to get into politics prior to marrying her. And he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would marry someone just because they would look good on his arm. __________________ I don't trash talk, I talk smack. They're totally different.
