You're talking to the wrong gal lol. Hubby boxes competitively. And he's undefeated.

and really it has nothing to do with Lorelai. Because she's still married to Chris afterwards... heck, Lorelai's not even watching this fight, and i really doubt that she'll ever find out about it before CL end.

Luke would totally win if it got that far... but I bet somehow someone will break it up, either taylor or kirk, or a car driving by them, or something. Unfortunately, I probably won't get to see Chris bleeding or in severe pain...

Luke isn't just beating up Chris anyways... it's a fight, a full out fist fight.... Chris will probably be throwing little punches like a girl that have no affect on Luke... but he's still just as guilty here.
I wasn't saying that Chris should be more liked then Luke in the situation. If Chris happened to beat Luke I don't think that would convince Lorelai of his prowess anymore then Luke beating Chris. Just that the idea that the winner of a fight being the winner of a woman's heart is archane.

I see what your point is, though and I can understand it even if I don't agree.

Gagme, Que? IT's asswhoopin for the love of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Also, your people, are over in the LL thread, and no I did not tell anyone to get lost. I just have no idea why anyone would put up with something that they find SUCKS so DAMN HARD. Actually, I know why, but I am just messing around.

Charmed, that's what you are good at...taking something complex and responding to it as if it's not. Again, protect your precious little opinions. It's more about having a SAY than anything else. Wow, isnt that the basis for a what of DEEP and INTROSPECTIVE discussion.

Are you a Vampire? or something like?

I think that a man who could be naturaly violent could hit even his own wife or family, maybe it is because being a hispanic I know that the Family violence is a REAL issue. Luke is a good guy but he has showed that he has lost his "self-control".

My spec is that this time Chris is going to win, why? because they should want to show Luke as a "saint" and not as the "killer", it is y opinon of course, always the woman runs to help or in the defense of the guy in the floor.

Yeah, I don't think Lorelai's heart is even going to be a part of this really. It's going to have to do with both of those guys insecurities with Lorelai and with themselves... but at least on Luke's end, i don't think he's going to be fighting for anything to do with winning Lorelai's heart.

and again, I don't think that Luke is beating up Chris in this fight. It seems like Chris starts this... and even if Luke ends up taking Chris down in the end, they'll both be equally quilty for this... or maybe even Chris more so since he probably starts it.

Just wait... we do all this speccing that Luke'll win but then Chris throws one great punch and Luke ends up being the one in pain on the ground and Chris walks away all smug and happy. How crazy would that be?

"It's to be expected." "Sure is." "Rah Rah for the other side." "Damn straight."

If I were your lawyer. I would advice you, that the talkbacks should never be neglected by you. But they are your people...get to know them. Embrace them. Also, there is a monthly barbeque on Tuesdays! Dont play.

Chris and Luke are probably not even going to throw a punch. By the scene in the promo. It looks as if they are going after one another to grapple more than to FIGHT. SO, I expect, a lot of homoerotic rolling around (the gay fellas deserve some love as well from Luke and Chris) Stars Hollow, then maybe a punch or two being thrown. It would be a bit profound for an innocent to be hit at the end of this fight like Kirk or Lulu or Taylor. So it could show how much of a dick move it was on both of their parts to start this fight.

That is a very good point. I just think it would be kinda embaressing for Luke to lose when he's so much bigger then Chris. He's always been shown as a big manly man. I'm not sure they'd want to show him losing a fight to Chris.

ETA: Do we know Chris is going to start the fight or is it wishful speccing?

"Where's the remote?" "In a parallel universe." "Really?" "Yeah." "Man, that sucks."

Chris has at least two inches on Luke. He's not a punny fella at least next to Steve Googan. In a tale of the tape, they would be about even in most categories outside of reach. Again, it's ridiculous, that these two have to grapple with one another, but it will at least be interesting to watch...like football being played in the mud.

How could someone as Lorelai marry the "Rocky" of the town??

Luke's more the recluse of the town than the ROCKY. Yeah, he has some temper issues, but he HURTS big carol. HE HURTS...BIG!

I'd seriously love it even if Chris and Luke were just rolling around trying to throw a punch like in hockey when they just like grab onto eachother and skate in like this circle throwing punches that never hit the other guy.

yeah, there's no way this will turn into an all out fight. Something or someone will have to interfer... it's not like GG's going to be bringing out the stunt doubles or fake blood.

And I want them both to walk out of this regretting it. No smug look by neither Luke nor Chris. it is a stupid thing on their parts. A stupid thing I'm going to love watching over and over again... but still it's stupid. And I want them both to see that somehow.

it's informed speculation I guess. Chris is mad about seeing LL earlier, he's mad at Lorelai for the vow thing and will probably blame the LL thing for the vow thing. And Chris is outside of Luke's without Lorelai. It's not like he just went there for a cup of coffee.

I guess it's more who the characters are then their actual stature that makes me think it would be embaressing for Luke to lose. I honestly don't think anyone is going to "win." I think someone is going to break it up. It is ridiculous that they have to fight.

I find nothing wrong about demonizing Chris to make Luke a hero this season. After the assification of Luke last year, I'd say it's justice.
I think assification is my new favorite word!!
