That's a good theory, that he's already at the hospital. It also could be that for some reason he does drive her there. This all screams F&S and I wouldn't be surprised if for some reason she's at the diner and he takes her again.

I really bet the CL fight will be before ep 13, or at the very beginning before Richard gets sick. The way he's "sulking" makes it seem like he was mad before all of this. and I can't see CL falling apart all in one ep.

As for Luke helping Emily. He might just be getting her tea or coffee, or maybe running a few arrands, or even talking to her about the whole situation like he did in F&S as well.

I was thinking that she maybe shows up in SH looking for Lorelai (cause maybe she wasn't at home) and shes running around looking and bumps into Luke while in hysterics....and it all snowballs from there. I dunno, just a spec.

Since when has Emily's feelings about someone necessarily changed by people "helping her out"? Emily often sees it as her due.

You know what? This does make sense because really Lorelei wouldn't call Luke with Chris there. What if Luke is the first to find out and has to tell Lorelei? like he's the one that finds Emily all upset and alone? Meanwhile, LC might be having a fight, C storms off, and L gets the call about Richard from Luke, rushes over, and doesn't have time to find Chris.

You always complain about that Ems and Lorelai's relationship doesn't develope. Lorelai will chose Luke in the end and even Emily has to realize he's the better man for her. If she doesn't you will never get a good and healthy relationship between Em and Lorelai. Both have to finally realize that Chris is the same old deadbeat and 16 year-old who can't handle things in life and is totally wrong for the Gilmore Clan.

For me I think Mrs.H. deserves Mr.H. Luke can do a whole lot better. I can't think of any reason why he should take her back even if she wanted it......

I posted this on the BB thread but since you want to hear other opinions on this thread...

I've seen the episode too. First of all, I really liked it, I mean I

it. One of my favourite episodes ever and this not only because of LC. I enjoyed Zack, Mrs. Kim and even Rory too.

There were some nice LC scenes in Paris. I really enjoyed the arriving (Fight the jetlag. Jetlag is strong!

), the bed scenes and the restaurant scene was one of the sweetest scene on the show ever.

But there was something, I can't describe it exactly, that felt wrong, I mean besides the fact that the wedding was too fast. Lorelai wasn't sure about the wedding and she's right. Being in a relationship or getting married and living together are two different issues. Lorelai and Chris knew each other for 25 years but they didn't live together and they're a couple only for a few month.

I'm happy that they married but the circumstances and the time is not right IMO. We should see the wedding and at least Rory should attend it. And Lorelai should be 100% sure about her relationship and the wedding but she wasn't sure and there were some tiny little moments at the restaurant in which I thought, mhm she acts weird. Like that she didn't look into Chris' eyes sometimes, that's a sign of unsureness. And of course the end was weird at all since they deleted some important scenes like the "I don't want to wait either" scene. I think she really meant the ILYs but isn’t it weird that she said it three times this episode but couldn’t say it more than two times during her long relationship with Luke. Okay, I’m sure we haven’t seen some ILYs but still…

I loved the talks about what Lorelai and Chris had planned for their Paris trip when they were 16. It showed that LC know each other for so long and that no matter what happened in their lives (engagement, marriages, kids) they never lost each other. But it also showed something else IMO. Lorelai and Chris may not forget to live in the present. I mean it's like when you meet old friends from school. You talk to them and for a short time the old days are coming back and you're having a great time. But when you try to renew the friendship you figure out it doesn't work cause your lives and interests are different now. And that's what can happen with Lorelai and Chris. Back in real life they’ll soon figure out how hard you’ve to work to make a marriage successful. And let’s face it. With Lorelai being unsure and defiant (she still acts like a teen IMO cause she does things but doesn’t think about the consequences) I can see that Lorelai maybe will backslide in her old behaviour of the last season to stay silent when it’s important to speak. But I still can’t see how this marriage can end in such a short time unless it’s not legal.

I'm not any kind of expert, but they look to be stagnant from last week. Like I've said before, this story is not doing the new CW any favors....
