| 1) Luke has been in every episode this year. 7.03 featured his grand re-opening and a new baseball cap 2) We don't know LC got married in France. They could have gotton married during a layover or after landing in the US and before arriving at the CS 3) The pivital moment is in 7.13? That would be set in Jan at the earliest. If you want to be a sticker for accuracy, a divorece (assuming they file immediately) takes at least 6 months. So no LL until June or July. And with DS's contract being extended, bets on Feb sweeps NOT ending with sad faced Lorelai and "it's over." That puts the final breakup at 6.16 or 6.17. __________________ This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum | |||

| EPG ..."On an all new Gilmore Girls, here on the new CW. Luke and Lorelei fans, if you're out there, Episode 13 marks a major turning point in the Luke/Lorelai/Christopher triangle. Hello? Are you out there LL fans? Is this thing on!?!? Well, if any of you are left, this is the beginning of the turn around for you fans, who had to wait through the beginning of the season of "The Hayden Girls." Of course, Luke and Christopher choose to deal with Richard's health crisis in very different ways because as we know, they are very different men. Luke chooses to run around helping Emily, who all along has treated him like a piece of *@!#. Maybe Emily will actually see how great he is. Meanwhile, Christopher, who was always Emily's favorite, in his classic immature way, chooses to go off and sulk (because he can't buy his way out of an illness) about a bad fight (over who's prettier), that he had with Lorelai, who is slowly getting her sanity back. Cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany about all of the mistakes she made at the beginning of the season, especially the excessively long, speeches. She also has another epiphany and remembers to tell Logan to use less gel and to tell Rory to get a grip about obsessing over her future. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll breathe a sigh of relief that DS's contract is up. Here on an all new GILMORE, not Hayden, Girls. Here on the new CW. Oh, and we fired those aerie airheads, too." __________________ Luke: "I just like to see you happy." House: "If you're happy, I'm......." House: "You do make me feel funny." | |||

| okay I'm going to to probably piss a lot of people here, but heres my comments: Last night eppy was cute, I do want Lorelai with Luke togethe, I can't emphasize it more, but Chris was adorable. He was really trying to do the right things to make Lorelai happy. As for the pizza and bench memories, it was sweet, it showed how connected they are. I think what the sl was trying to show is their history. People are constantly slamming Chris, I dont know why seeing as he should be gone soon enough, patience. I think last nights eppy reminded me of the old writing style, the flow was there, although Luke was out of character. The promo looked good, but we still dont know what the fight is about, I think it doesnt really have anything to do with jealousy that Lorelai married Chris, that would be dumb. How can Lorelai respect someone who is fighting your husband cause hes jealous he's your husband?? That is too childish. Even Jess never fought Dean. I think there is something we are missing, some peice of the puzzle we havent gotten so that we can see why the fight is justified. I am glad Lorelai is happy, I like happy Lorelai, but she is having regrets, she is so wrapped up in the fantasy, that she isnt getting down to her true feelings. She wanted to wait, but she was sucked in cause "then he smiles and its Christopher". I see where she is coming from, but she knows it was a mistake, she was caught up in the moment trying to recapture the feelings she had at 16. As far as the drive bye haters, what is the point? Stopping by saying "I didnt watch the eppy", and you felt compelled to announce it to everyone? ![]() "I'm tired of people being mad that my life didn't turn out like everyone hoped it would" I think that was Rose's statment to the fans __________________ ~ ~"What the hell kind of spy school did you go to?" | After watching the show last night the big thing I came away with is that Lorelai and Christopher are not interesting not matter what happens. They could have been highjacked on their way back from Paris, dropped off in Antarctica, surrounded by man eating penguins and forced to eat their leather shoes and it still would not have been interesting. Paris streets, fancy hotels, romantic beds piled high with sparkling white linen, dinner in front of the Eifel Tower, nothing! And Lorelai's totally phoney "sudden realization" that Chriss bribed the restaurant. Come on! That was just so fake. She would have figured it all out in seconds. I used to complain that Christopher was smarmy, his new totally whipped mush persona is almost making me feel empathy for the character. Him as Lorelai's stalker is no longer funny, it's creepily real. And he sure wasn't crying many tears over Gigi. (As in, "I've got Lorelai all to myself, Gigi who?" ) Somebody should tell the writers that for the TV watchers to care about a story the characters have to have a life. People with no ideas, no concerns, no life ,can elope in Paris or trek across the Sahara but no one will care. There was totally no drama, just dump the kid, yawn, babble, get married, big yawn, home again. | |||

| In the promo of 7-08 the "pre-fight scene" looks so "determinde" - just as if they "planed" that as a meeting! ![]() | |||

| i'm dying to see how Emily reacts to Luke helping her when Richard gets sick, maybe this will be a turning point for her to and she'll finally be able to see what a good man and a good human being Luke is. She probably won't be happy about Chris not lifting a finger to help, i hope Lorelai sees Luke helping her mom out while her dad is sick. | |||
