Thanks for the thread Babs. SO, Caf, whose fault is it that you find Christopher "nauseating and boring?" From all the imperical evidence that I have gathered on you and your hate. It's more personal, and less about the character on the show. This is all fine and good, but it's like being pissed off at Rory for not having the same reaction as you to something. It really does not work in the context of the show. Somehow, that does not matter, and people do it it anyway. The internet is weird.

Back to this, Chris hate, the writers of this show have never hated Chris. The writers of this show, you know, the one that WE WATCH. You know that show? The one with VOLTRON and what not? The writers of this show, on more than one occassion, have shown that Chris may not always make the best move or always think things through. However, that does not mean that he is hated by Lorelai. Nor does it mean that he is hated by his daughter. Again, for the 15th billionth time, JOURNEY JOURNEY, JOURNEY, and this is YOUR PROBLEM. This is a Spoiler and Speculation thread. It's not a "FOOLISHLY HATING A CHARACTER" thread.

Since, honestly, you and anyone else that hates Christopher...miss the point of the entire show by hating him or any other character. That's the ****ing truth. Not just the way that I see it. It's right there on the screen. These characters are just trying to make their way in this universe. So, instead of feeling empathetic, you decide to hate them? Really? I know you may find this hard to believe, but I have mad empathy and love for the human race even the fictional realizations of the human struggle. To dismiss that, to me, dismisses way too ****ing much. Get over your hate. If not, then, you failed Yoda. That's damn disappointing.

I didn't see the ep now, but I watched the promo for 7.08.

I'm surprised about Es reaction - I just want to know if LC told them that they are allready married or that they want to marry!!!
And I would be currious if we will see that ev. US-Wedding.

Question:
Did we see the LC wedding in Paris in 7.07 or did the ep stop with the proposal?

ITA - they might be hiding it and say they are engaged, also the gift she has in the promo, if they did say they eloped could that be the same gift Emily put aside from the Max wedding?

Jason we are a complicated lot. Yes we want Lorelai back with Luke and Chris far far way, back to Paris with Gigi would be good! We hate that she is knocking boots with Chris right now put Luke will get over that 'cause this is Luke but Lorelai needs to win Luke back, I don't want Luke begging Lorelai back. And only when she shows Luke she loves him and not Chris then IMO he will propose and have his moment. Then I'm sure we'll get the WTD SL!

DR knows how crazy the CIP are, and that they would check if this "marriage" is legal. And, what a surprise, it isn´t.....so, this marriage just HAS to be illegal.....but what I don´t get is, if Mr. and Mrs. H. want to notarize their marriage in the US, they will find out their marriage isn´t legal....aaahhh....this is TV so, who knows. I´d just LMAO when Mrs.H. goes for divorce and discovers that she never was married.....;-)

Yes, if this was so great, so right, so true - why didn't they show it to all the fans? I'm sure many would've enjoyed watching one of the show's two main characters finally marrying after all these years. N'est ce pas?

New Ausiello makes me smad aka the plot he was pointing to: Richard is ill, Luke supposed to be kind of Hero, Chris the bad, sulking guy. How cheap is that?

So, Luke helps Emily, Emily probably sees that he isn't such a bad guy, Lorelai as well, blablabla, happy end.

I had hoped for a innovative plot, not a tentousend year old.

Sighs.

I think the Chriss sulks spoiler from MA must be 7.11. After the fight, Lorelai prob is pissed at him and on Luke´s side.....thats new for our Chrissy....
