Captain, I need you to figure out these ratings for me... and yeah I know others can explain them too, but I have developed a preference for Captains

7.07 was up about 100,000 viewers from last week, down about 1.6 mil from 6.07.

Of course, everything on the CW is down from what it was on the WB.

All joking and ships aside, do you think the ratings are affected at all by the C&L story? I get the new network business and all that, but I wonder if there was, say, a more fun and focused story about Rory and Logan if the ratings might not improve some.

For the ratings, the only way is up, now that the Tweedle-Ds are back from their lala-land.....

I'm a little older than Lorelai, and I'm happy to say I have both. But I'll be honest and say if I only had the great career and endless opportunities but still yearned for a partner and/or famly with him, then I better decide quickly what my priorities are.

And why is Rory only deserving of both career and family/kids?

I have no idea how the show is going to end, but I don't see anything less than the whole package for Lorelai - marriage/successful career and at least planning for kids. There obviously, at this point, is not enough time to see it all, which is why the future will have to be soon for her.

To me the happily ever after was always Lorelai enjoying finally, a successful relationship with a man (of course Luke), and Rory flying away to whatever she wants to do, unencumbered by responsiblities (which is what I thought Lorelai always meant by "having more than me"). And both of them accepting and loving each other for who they are, including the Grand Gilmore Girl, Emily.

well, I am not Sher, but am gonna respond anyway ... I don't think Sophies hate Luke. I get that response from Sher though, and I am not a Sophie, but if I would have to choose, yeah I would be one ... I think some people (incl. me) get a little fed up with all the drama that is spreaded on this thread concerning L/C/L and well there was a lot of talk ( and I mean a lot!) about ratings dropping and dark days, and well let's say not the most positive feelings are spead around, but well ratings were up compared to last week ... so I guess the day was not so dark ...

Maybe cause Luke is Jess and Chriss is Logan ?? Don´t know, but it matters who will be there in the end.....and it won´t be Mr.H......

You know what the best part was of that ep. Besides Mrs. Kim, that the Tweedle-Ds woke up at 4 a.m., laid in bed for awhile, wandered the city for food, went back to the hotel for..

, showered, changed and still made it to the restaurant by 5 a.m.
LMAO, poor Lorelai, but she takes what she can get....and 2 min are better then nothing right ??? Right......
