| about the ep.. i love lorelai no matter what <3 LG is gorgeous the ILY's were fake from lorelai.. she WANTS to believe her face at the end.. hahaha to bad chris, she loves luke ! i acutally liked rory in this ep =] the promos were absolutely great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im really excited for the upcoming episodes it was funny how the waiters stood in a straight line staring at LC haha i realllllly liked rory with pink highlights marty..o man im excited for this i hate how they make luke look so stupid! grr the writers only watched a few episodes of the series.. >:[ i thought it would be bad.. but i thought the ep was really good __________________ Patrick Dempsey  Mcdreamy/Meredith Lorelai/Luke | |||

| Tonight Lorelai was the poster child of what happens when one drinks on an empty stomach. He/she makes very stupid choices and decisions. Also, Lorelai needs her required amount of food, sleep, and coffee to make informed decisions. And since we know she didn't have the correct amount of any of the above she was obviously delusional while talking to Christopher. And she realized it once she hit American soil. Must be nice to watch guys fling clothing so they can fight over you, though. Maybe she'd do it all again just for that one moment in time. | |||

| Although it appears the writers are using the L/C wedding as a catalyst to bring back LL, does this bother anyone else? I will watch the eps to see how everything plays out, but no matter how much I love LL I just cannot see them being together again realistically after all that has happened. Seriously, dating Chris was one thing, but to marry him so soon after the break up and then when LC break up it just makes Lorelai look flighty, fickle, and completely immature. But that is just IMHO. | |||

| Ok, I usually don't say much around here. I read, I take it in, but tonight incited a need for some venting. I thought I could deal, but I had to fast forward the CL stuff. I like Christopher as a person. I get that he's trying to redeem himself with Rory and Lorelai, but he's too convenient for me to see him as believable. Right now, my biggest problem is Lorelai. Please explain to me how you go from pleading with your fiance in the street, telling him you've never loved anyone until him, etc. to this overly romantic character spouting ILYs like a chocolate fountain. I mean, where is Lorelai? Am I supposed to believe she's THAT dismissive of Luke - the person she said made her realize she'd never really loved anyone before? I mean, I get that Luke was a bit slow on the take last season, but this is ridiculous. I also get that she has a history with Christopher, I do, but we've been there and done that too many times. Where is Luke's chance to prove himself - he gave Lorelai hers after they broke up. With all that love she had for Luke, where's evidence that he's even a second thought to her? It's just not realistic for me. If they wanted me to believe Lorelai and Chris, I need to have believed that she's deal with her Luke issues and truly gotten over it, but I don't think she has. I don't know. Honestly, I'm not trying to run LC into the ground with hate, I'm just trying to have it make sense to me - and it doesn't. At some point, her Luke issues HAVE to resurface. She hasn't dealt with their breakup. She hasn't had time b/c she bounced immediately to Christopher. Where's the woman that sustained herself without a man and took time to figure things out? I respected that woman. This new one doesn't work for me. Alas, I'm one of those people that will watch it until the end - no matter what. | The ep sounds so DREAMY AND AWESOME!!!!!!!!   All except, the last scene with Lorelai's face, and the Mrs Hayden thing. Having her be Mrs Hayden spells the end for C/L in big giant letters, she is not Lorelai GILMORE anymore. This can only be a metaphor for Chris and Lor being doomed. Altho, I find it bogus, the name change will be an example of how Lorelai "changed" everything about herself to be with Chris. She will eventually go back to being the “real” Lorelai with Luke, Lorelai Gilmore. Of course, I find Lorelai is totally herself around Chris, he brings out the REAL Lorelai, and makes her blissful, and stimulates her as a person. The name thing however, will just be a device in showing how she is not right with Chris. The name thing is WRONG!!!!!!!!!  Chris of all ppl would want her to keep her maiden name. He knows and fell in love with the true Lorelai Gilmore, he knows her better than anyone else, and he would want her to stay Lorelai Gilmore. Man, the name thing is awful!!!!!!!!! If you would have watched the show outside of your entire SPECTRUM OF NEEDS, then you would have realized something rather big about Lorelai being married...SHE HAD A FACE IN THE LAST SCENE. That's right. She knows that she lept to soon. If you are not too busy with the rest of your cohorts being miserable. Maybe you can take a moment, realize that LL are not dead, and much like the Jean Grey Summers...LL WILL RISE AGAIN! Oh, I forgot, you are too stubborn to accept this, because you put all of these shenanigans on what the show should and should not be. I made an investment too, lady. So did countless MILLIONS OF PEOPLE that do not agree with you. Yet, because we can deal, that makes us SUCK? No, sorry caf, but you and everyone that agrees with you are constantly ignoring the BOARD and focusing on the PIECES. Give the show a ****ing chance. Before you go all overly dramatic. Oh, I forgot, that's too much to ask. Nevertheless, that episode...KICKED ASS! Not only did it establish that Rory is going to fight in the future as well as why she sells out Logan next week. It establishes that she's going to grad school next year. Tonight shows why I love Rory. She knows that she's freaking out, she does not want to freak out, but there will be a plan of attack in the future. You want a storyline fellow Sophies. SHO-RUNNA BRINGS YOU A STORYLINE! Finally, if you are not down with this show or storyline, I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YOU...(an the WWE crowd says it for me)! | |||
