Lorelai and Chris are getting ready to leave for France with GG. Chris is in a hurry to leave, and taking the heavy bags to the car. Lorelai questions what the rush is, thinking the flight is later then Chris said. They get in the car, and Chris says they have plenty of time, that the flight isn't until 6:30pm. (before he was saying it was 3:30ish pm)

02:

Bill is celebrating his new Editorialship with the staff and Rory. All of the staff are telling Rory why they inspired her or how she was a great Editor. Bill is taking everyone for drinks at Rich Man’s Shoe. Rory declines. She looks around the newsroom sadly.

Lane and Zach are looking at a sonogram where they’re having twins. Lane is freaking out. Zach explains that she needs to tell her mom because she’s starting to show.

Lorelai and Chris are in their hotel room in Paris. They discuss dropping GG off to Sherry who already had a booster seat. Lorelai is excited that she’s in Paris. Chris is going to make a reservation at the most romantic restaurant in Paris. Lorelai is lying on the bed. They banter for awhile.

03:
Rory and Paris are walking through Yale together. Paris asks Rory if she’s looked into fellowships or graduate school. Rory hasn’t. Paris recommends medication to Rory for her depression from being Editor.

Kim and Zach are at a very quiet and awkward dinner at Mrs. Kim’s. Mrs. Kim tells them that she knows that they are avoiding her and she thinks it’s because they have no new music to show her. Lane bursts out telling her that she’s pregnant. She thinks that Mrs. Kim is going to freak out. Instead, Mrs. Kim is excited. She tells Lane and Zach that on Monday they need to move in with her. Zach replies, “cool!” Mrs. Kim runs off to email their relatives.

Lorelai wakes up to the sound of a siren and wakes Chris up. It’s 4am and they’ve been sleeping for 9hrs. They are both starving. Chris tries calling room-service but there’s no room-service available. Chris suggests that they go back to bed for awhile and then wake up when it’s time to eat. Both of them lie in bed wide awake. Chris has counted all the Fleur-de-lis on the ceiling, that’s how awake he his. Chris says that there has to be a restaurant open and he’s going to find it.

Rory is texting someone alone in her apartment. She calls Olivia who’s making a mobile for her sister’s baby. She asks about Lucy. Olivia talks to Rory about “boyfriend” (Lucy’s). Rory asks them if they want to do something. Lucy says that she wants to go to the country. Rory suggests her home in Stars Hollow.

Chris and Lorelai are walking around Paris and all the restaurants are closed. Lorelai is complaining. They walk while their arms are around each other. The see someone eating and they try to call out and run after him but they run away. They see baguettes and try to speak French to the delivery guy. He makes fun of the “Americans” and drives away. Lorelai says that her hunger reminds her of the time she was in 10th grade when her class was going on and on and when she finally left she saw Chris who took out a slice of pizza from the cafeteria and gave it to her. Even back then, he was really sweet to her.

04:
Lane is working at the Diner. Kirk places his hand on Lane’s stomach and says that he’s waiting for a kick. He tries to convince Lane to have her kids at a specific hospital. Luke is being over-protective over Lane carrying heavy plates. Lane is upset about moving in with Mrs. Kim.

Chris and Lorelai are in bed talking. They talk about the beautiful view. Chris has a plan to “fix things” but won’t tell Lorelai.

Rory, Lucy and Olivia are sitting on the CS front porch with foil hi-lites in their hair. They’re going over old pictures of Rory. Lucy is talking about “boyfriend” about how he will not like her dye colour. Inside the house, Olivia finds “Rory through the ages” heights on the inside of the broom closet. They decide to make cake or something.

Chris and Lorelai walk to another “Ferme” restaurant and Lorelai is surprised when the door is opened and they are seated at a private table. Lorelai is stunned and wants to know how Chris did this. Chris said that while he was lying in bed he remembered back when they were 16 and they had made plans to go to Paris. But, after all their lives, they still made it here like nothing has changed. Yet, things have changed and now Chris has money. So, he decided to used it to get them dinner. He was ready to do other things like theft to get Lorelai fed. They reminisce about their plans previously. Lorelai tells Chris that she loves him. He replies that he loves her back. They kiss.

05:
Lane and Zach are at Mrs. Kim. Lane is trying to tell Mrs. Kim that they can’t move in, yet Mrs. Kim is telling them that her old room isn’t ready and that she knows they want separate beds and such. Finally, they just tell Mrs. Kim that they don’t want to move in. Mrs. Kim looks upset but says that she respects their decision and then walks out.

Rory, Lucy and Olivia are admiring their coloured hair. As Lucy and Olivia are talking about the newspaper, Rory looks sad and upset. All of a sudden she starts crying. The girls are concerned. Finally Rory tells them that everything is ending for her, she’s done with the newspaper, she’s almost done with Yale and she’s standing in a fog looking out into an abyss. All her life she’s known what she’s going to do but right now she doesn’t know what’s going to happen with her career and her relationship with Logan. Olivia and Lucy agree what they don’t know what they’re doing with their lives either. Rory says that maybe she should be applying at graduate schools or something.

Lorelai and Chris are at dinner as the sun rises and Lorelai thanks him. Lorelai says that she’s just so happy. She doesn’t want things to end. Chris reminds Lorelai about when he said he’ll wait until 80 to figure them out, he says that he doesn’t want to wait. Lorelai says that she loves him but it seems like it’s too soon because they’ve been dating for a few months. Chris says that this has been going on for 25 years. Lorelai mentions Rory and Chris says that Rory will be thrilled. He then asks her to marry him.

06:
Lane and Zach are walking into their house and they’re discussing names. They walk in and Mrs. Kim is there baby-proofing the room. She also went shopping and claims that she will cook them dinner as soon as she’s done unpacking. Lane and Zach are stunned. She sent Brian to live with her relatives.

Rory, Lucy and Olivia are walking into Lucy and Olivia’s dorm room. Lucy is excited to see, “boyfriend” and when she introduces Rory to Marty, he pretends not to know her. When the girls leave the room, Rory asks him why he pretended not to know her. He says because otherwise it’ll be odd. Rory seems upset but she can’t say more because Lucy and Olivia walk back in. They are excited telling Marty about Rory’s hometown.

Lorelai and Chris walk back into Lorelai’s house. They look exhausted. They kiss on the couch and Chris says, “Welcome home, Mrs. Haden.” Lorelai looks at her ring and Chris walks out to get their bags.

That would piss off viewers simply because they have been promoting the wedding for way too long.

ok well...after almost throwing up my whole dinner I have to say that I really, really did not like this epi. I'm not even going to cough it to add to my collection. L/L fans--even though we know it won't last, it was very tough to watch all the L/C interactions. The only glimmer was Lorelai's face at the end...not exactly a glowing bride.

I watched already too, and I liked it. I LOVED the Lane/Zach/Mrs. Kim parts.

Lorelai and Chris were very romantic.

Rory was boring, and Marty didn't even look like Marty to me.

Just finished watching the episode. It was very sad for me to watch. Lorelai told Chris on three different occasions that she loves him. It actually brought tears to my eyes (not tears of joy) when she told him that. They made love and Chris at dinner told her that when they get back to SH they can do more of what they did in the hotel earlier. It was a tough watch for me as I love Lorelai and Luke together.

What's "you JJs"? And what difference does C/L being happy or unhappy have to do with anything? This isn't a contest, I didn't invest in an endgame, I invested in an enjoyable show with characters I found interesting and cared about. And most of all, whom I enjoyed watching.

It's a very long time since this show has been either interesting or enjoyable to watch.

Why am I still here? For a while, I had hope. After tonight, blame morbid curiosity.

Rory's storyline has been so non existant that they had to show a clip from 2 years ago in the previouslies.
