What does that mean? one minuter he said that then NO COMMENT?

Rory takes it well? and Luek not so well, BTW nice way to find out seeing the ring, that's gotta hurt, NO COFFEE FOR YOU!

Luke helping Emily, okay that's just weird!

Barely a true word was spoken by Lorelai all through S6. It's the first time she ever brought up having more kids, before she wanted to see what the world had to offer her. Two things I thought were really interesting tonight. Chris, Lorelai AND Gigi appear to have been living at the Crap Shack.

And how Chris kept referring to Stars Hollow as back home.

Seems like Chris is great with shelling out for the big expensive romantic gestures to make an impression, but when he needs to dig deep and give something of himself, which would be a lot more meaningful, he's nowhere to be found.

Somebody on tour said they saw a Gigi-sized ski jacket on the coat rack at Lorelai's, and pictures of her in the living room. I think that was last week.

Face it. DSR is most interested in exploring the C/L relationship, he'll probably pursue it as long as he can sign DS for. Even if they break up in 713, well, he can draaaag out that break up for endless episodes.

Those of us who find C/L neither interesting nor palatable are out of luck.

Me, denial. Nope. I just don't have shipper colored glasses that I view that part of the show through. I reserve those for a different part. You want what you want, damn what the show and Lorelai have actually uttered, when things were at their most perfect in her life and her world wasn't falling apart.

Luke has been having alot of "Aha" moments lately. Seeing Chris' ring on Lorelai's finger will throw him over the top. Also (let's keep our fingers crossed), when Lorelai finally is free, I don't think he'll waste too much time making another play for her.

What would be fun is seeing Luke truly romance Lorelai - not with grand gifts or trips, etc - but just by opening himself up to her (I know the guys all want to hurl right about now, but openness is what L/L were missing before).

Mickey, you dont need a male brain, because it's a phenomenom. When people fight. Sometimes, a positive result comes out of it, like the end of Mean Girls. See what I did there? MAGIC! Also, that was not my post. It was HAWK. I am still of the opinion that a beating has been coming Chris' way for a while, and Luke has a beating coming from Chris. This all goes back to WBB. This goes back a couple of years.

Craig, I think that the SHO-RUNNA was alluding to the early part of the second-half dealing with Rory, Lorelai, and Chris dealing with the effects of the marriage. While, the NO COMMENT, was about the LONG HAUL of the marriage. That aside; Luke does a stand-up thing for Emily. While Chris sulks. I never knew that people that make you feel comfortable and relaxed, nst, were vapid and shallow? This just shows the difference between Luke and Chris as well as Lorelai. Luke is family first. In a way, he still has familial feelings for Emily. While Chris, whose family hated him outside of one old man with money, does not have the roots of FAMILY FIRST that Luke has. This does not make Chris WRONG. It makes him different. However, in the long run, this will have an effect on Lorelai, because deep inside of all of that self-absorition and self-centredness. There lies a very giving woman, that puts her family first above all else...when it's needed. This is a nice turning point for LL. Nice.

ETA: Laura, word up to the BEETLEJUICE SONG MENTALITY of many of the JJs and LLs in this thread who are not Melodie or Katie. Seriously, all you want is your happiness. Read caf's post. Who is more important to caf? The story on the show? Or what caf gets out of the story? We are powerless in this world. We can write fics. We can play the STARS HOLLOW version of OREGON TRAIL. We can spend countless post debating, discussing, and BITCHING about this show. That does not mean that we are owed anything. Nor does it mean that there is some implicit contract that guarantees that the SHO-RUNNA makes us HAPPY. He made me happy tonight. I laughed out loud countless times. If you are not down, then it's on you. If you do not think it's on you. I have countless posts of imperical evidence that are proof that it's about you and your need for the show to make you happy.

Whateverthecase, the only denial in this thread, comes from the folks that all got together to have matching AVATARS...how quaint.
