Agreed. It was completely selfish and inconsiderate for them to get married without even telling Rory what they were planning, let alone waiting until she was present. I know L/C are grownups, although they don't always act that way, and can marry if they feel like it, but the relationship between Rory and Lorelai is too strong and has been the foundation of the entire show, and to have Lorelai leave Rory out of her wedding is just unfathomable. Chris' "Rory will be happy" shows his complete lack of understanding of how close Lorelai and Rory are, and Lorelai's neglect to include Rory is yet another example of the shell that used to be Lorelai and is now a completely new, spineless, do whatever the man wants character that we have been treated to this season.

I was assuming that CL tell ER in ep. 8 or 9... Because Chris getting dressed up twice in one ep is a little much unless CL go out to diner or something too.

And why, why, why are those guys fighting like that. what brings Chris to outside of Luke's? hey, were they both getting out of a car? could they have hit eachother's cars? that's no excuse, but really, they're just coming from opposite directions all crazy and everything, makes it seem like there wasn't much said before it.

Ah who cares about Rory - she's just the kid. Dumb her with the nanny, ship her off to a foreign country, leave her behind and don't even remember you had her.
They're stuck in 1983 - Rory didn't exist there. They did what they wanted to do when they were 15/16.
Now they're back home and ops all of a sudden Lorelai is 38 again. Reality knocks on her door and she has to face her daughter and her friends. No one wanted her to be with Chris or rather didn't see her with her Chris - except Emily and she did what Emily wanted for her life.

IA! Chris has no idea how the GGs have lived their lives the past 20 years.

What worries me is how Lorelai will ever recover from this -- boy when she ****s up, she really goes whole hog.

Sher, thanks for breaking up the LLC monotany, and responding to my spec. The thing of it is; the Yale set is built. It's cheaper, for next year, to have her go to grad school then to build another set. Also, remember, this is the second week in a row. Where grad school has been mentioned. I do believe that would be...AN ANVIL. Whateverthecase, Rory is not a superhero. She's a woman trying to make her way in the world. If that requires a few more years of school. It requires a few more years of school.

JJ and LL fans, how do you keep this anger up? When you visit more than this place. You folks trip me out. You really really do. Denial is not just a river in Africa. It's the description of an LL fan that hates Lorelai up until the moment she spreads her broken wings for Luke again.

Finally, here are some great insights that comes from Lou Pinella. Lou, arent people supposed to compromise in relationships? I could have sworn they are supposed to do that in relationships. She's not being neglectful to Rory. If you would have paid attention to episodes 001-137. The way Lorelai is acting towards Rory, has happened before...like last year. She want to get married. I forgot. All JJs know how to do is CONDEMN. No SHOULDERS TO CRY ON with you lot.

you know when/where else Rory didn't exist? in the CS in 1991... that was a huge continuity error that got me mad... hmm... maybe some writers need to go back and watch CI and while watching, get a lesson on what pining looks like.

Anyone else think this is reverse of WBB when Luke was dress in a white shirt?

We had the whole talk about white = good so what do we think DSR is trying to tell us?

Interesting, since the ep had run for 16 min in the Pacific Time Zone at the time of your post.

ETA: theJSW, I agree, but they who gloat, then piss on others by claiming THEY gloat and demanding that stop it, shall not be denied their gloating.

Actually, I could have sworn there was an explanation as to why there were measurements on the door from BEFORE Lorelai and Rory lived there. Something about Lorelai putting them there to make it look like she grew up in the Crap Shack or something along those lines. No, I have no idea where it is, but I am discounting a continuity error. Since, this reason in my head, did not pop out of my ass like a magical pop tart.

ETA: Damn it, HAWK! Craig cares about this show. HE CARES! When everything is going his way...BUT HE CARES! So why would he be factually inaccurate?
