Rory goes to London for Christmas, Christopher goes to France to visit GG, Lorelai has to stay in SH for work. She goes to FND, has a terrible time returns to SH and becomes Mimi so she can go to the diner. (Hopefully by this time she finds out that her marriage is not legal, because as wrong as it might be I think it could still be right,)

I was thinking and sorry if this bought up last night as I didn't read every post but the Paris trip, could it have been a mirror to the April bus trip and Luke going but not asking Lorelai if she wanted to come (even though I doubt she would be allowed)

ETA: Having watched the episode again. Yes, someone here, loves the show. I know...evil. Nevertheless, The Great Stink marks the RETURN OF MAUREY! Who we have not seen in quite sometime. Since he spent last year being an evil alien scumsucking dirtbag on Invasion! YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET ALIEN MAURY? YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU MESS WITH SHERIFF UNDERLAY! Also, I may be wrong, but the record store on the street Rory and Logan walked up at the end of TGS. Might very well be the same record store that Jess and Rory visited on Lorelai's Graduation Day.
