Lets find out what else she has here in the house. He starts to look around and finds some stuff like the wedding dress or a Luke box or maybe this time when he goes into the garage he'll see the boat

Ohh, the character witness letter Lorelai writes for Luke? Chris sees it when Lorelai is out of the house and he gets mad.

You're right, the link in the first post doesn't work, which is my fault because I was the one adding it to the first post. But it was late and the site got freaky, so I had to change the link from the angel-server to the www-server and that went wrong. Sorry, people!

Ok, just saw the ep!

I loved Luke!!!
Goddddd, how I hate Anna!!! Everytime I see her I feel like !
I loved it how Luke didn't let her talk for once and what he said was great and right!

I really could lough in that ep!!!
Emily was so great in the beginning!!!
"Isn't it lovely?!!?" - And that "present" - - how the hell can I present something like that to my daughters wedding?!

Well - Chris doesn't understand anything for what the events in SH stand!
For him it is all about the money.
He wants to help - but he doesn't consider, that you can't allways help with money.

I don't know about the boat - my guess is that it was gone a while ago - but the thought of Chris searching the CS, looking for "evidences" of Luke being still in Lorelai's heart, sounds really plausible.

I haven't seen the ep yet so I shouldn't have read your post - not too spoiling anyhow - but this thing about Chris and his relationship with money has come up several times already.
When he bribed the restaurant staff in Paris to open it, Lorelai thought it was fun and I was like "yes it's nice, at least once every now and then to use money to do something you otherwise couldn't do".
Then he invited all of Rory's friend, trying to be a part of his daughter life and spent loads of money but it didn't work, cause money can't buy everything, definitely not intimacy and deep relationship with your daughter.

Now he'll probably do something in this ep too - did I mention I haven't watched it yet? - that will highlight the fact that Chris seems to be using money everytime he can't sort himself out of a situation where talking and being close to someone would solve more.
He's so anxious, out of the goodness of his intentions - to build a relationship with Rory and to strenghten his marriage with Lorelai (and being a part of SH life is part of that process) that he ends up overdoing things.

I'd love for the writers to develop some sort of incompatibility btw Lorelai and Chris on some important matters - like trust, which they will do using the whole Chris is jelous of Luke - rather than suddendly turning Chris into and a$$ just to sort themselves out of the C/L storyline.

Maybe that's why Chris wants a new house - too much Luke in the old one. This is turning out to be my favorite season and it's just getting better each week.

VM is not sellling the April character for me. The writers gave her the words but I just couldn't feel it with her. I found myself (as did several people watching with me) wanting her to go to NM.

I really don't have a problem with Chris and his money. He's trying so hard to just help people out that it makes me like him more. To me it's not about the money for him, it's about solving problems people have. It's never for his personal gain other than to make people he loves happy or more comfortable. Lorelai doesn't care about money so their problems should never go that way. I'd rather see Chris walk and make Lorelai really choose how she wants her life to go. Chris isn't the devil nor does he kill puppies, he's just in love with a woman who loves him but not enough to sustain a lifetime partnership.

WOW. That's all I can say. WOW.
FINALLY, there's an episode this season that I liked all the way through, without complaints. It felt very much like the old Gilmore Girls.
And, here's why....

Stashe and Pearls -- First and foremost, the first scene was awesome. Priceless. Hysterical. Totally Gilmore. I watched it more than once and laughed every time.
These two have been missed.... They should be in every eppy, every SCENE.

Paris and Doyle -- The other time I laughed so hard I almost spit out my drink - their dancing! Another couple that should be in every scene. Funny with a capital F.

Lorelei -- better banter, nice fun T (where have they been?), good chemistry with everyone, hey - a genuine smile, loving her town and town events, feeling more natural

Chris -- Now, I know I'm not usually a fan, but I think he tried really hard. C'mon, would you sit and talk to Jackson?!?! That's love, people. Plus, I enjoy the longer hair. I'm starting to feel sad about the fact that he's living in denial and going to get burned. He also needs to understand that money can't fix everything....

Luke -- WOW!!! He finally grew some.... Way to tell Anna off, Luke!! I found myself yelling "Go Luke" at my TV in the final scene. I absolutely adore the new expressive Luke, who can actually communicate his feelings. I think the new writers really love this character and let me tell you, it shows. Scott Patterson's acting has been perfect.

April -- The actress needs to learn how to cry more realistically. Sorry, but it's true.

Sookie -- I liked her speech about everyone liking Luke and Lorelei together. I think she was being honest.

Patty and Babette -- fake hospitatlity. so them.

Liz and TJ -- Always a joy. We need to see them more.

New Friends and Marty -- Really need to go!! Very annoying, but I still could make it through their scenes without leaving the room or being sick.

Congrats, writers!!! Kudos! You finally hit one out of the park. It only took 9 trys.
