I think Christopher had a little Emily attitude going with the "Diner Guy" remark.

I agree with everyone, it was great to see Luke standing up for himself at the end. He is completely right that he has rights as a parent, and Anna cannot keep acting like April is only her daughter and Luke is just some guy. It's Anna's selfishness that kept Luke from experiencing all the joys of seeing April grow up and do all of the things that he mentioned, and he is absolutely right to be upset that Anna has kept him out of April's life and is now trying to move her away. It was one good thing in the ep that I actually enjoyed seeing. Of course the part where L/C walk down Stars Hollow with their arms entwined looking all couply, and Luke sees that was not one of the better moments for me to see. I know that Stars Hollow is Lorelai's home, just as much as Luke's, but you'd think she'd have a little compassion or decency to at least think that Luke might see them and it might be hard for him to take so soon after they ended their own engagement. I'm not saying L/C should never come out, but I just wish that LL had at least talked some to clear the air, or at least try to clear the air, about the new L/C relationship.
