During the party, he's doing the bar. Rory looks over at him a few times then walks over and kind of "confronts" him about why he's being a "jerk" (I think she used that word) to her. He eases off and they joke a little. Later she's sitting on the couch (reminded me of the scene with Logan in Partings, don't know if that was intentional), Marty joins her. It's friendly for a few minutes then he makes the comment about her looks, she says the thing about Lucy and he goes over to join Lucy and kisses her, rather showily. I like Marty but he was a jerk. Someone asked about Logan - he helps Rory move into Paris' room. When Paris is carrying on about the lease and charging pro rata for use of shower etc, the camera keeps panning to Logan's face - it's really funny. Then Rory and Logan have a short discussion - Lucy's party is the same night as a work party Logan wanted her to come to. Rory tries to talk Logan into coming to the college party instead, they agree to each go to their own party, they kiss, he leaves. eta: The Marty part was hard to describe, but basically, ITA with curlyhead.
