I'm seen the guy in the ep 10 pic's but can't name him Is he playing Randall Farber?

IMO Edward Hibbert is playing Randall Farber the "flamboyant party Planner and Set designer for Operas" and it fits

No way. I was annoyed when she was first introduced. Too soapy for my likes, but I've always enjoyed her and I love seeing the effect she has on Luke. And I agree with your earlier post that April is his therapy. Really I've got mad love for Luke.

Heh. It strikes me funny that L/L and R/L fans tend to defend the guy more than the girl in the couple. Interesting.

Like you i was resistant at first to that whole SL but now I can't wait to see them together...its whats been keeping me going this season!

No. I never hated April. I didn't like the reason why she appeared last season but her conversation with Luke in the last ep was the first time this season that I enjoyed a scene with him besides his Kirk/Diner SL at the very beginning of S7.

That's Luke, just any old plumber....oh come on! I don't think Lorelai ever called a plumber "the only man I ever loved." Plus you are missing part of the charm of their romance. Luke fixed up the house for them because of his affection for Lorelai and Rory. And Lorelai never resented his breaking into the house because he belonged there.

ETA: I'm not talking about "ownership" but love. Luke and Lorelai helped each out over the years because of love.

The CS represents Lorelai's heart. Luke was the first man she really let in; and he knew all the different ways to get in.

And now that Chris has "moved" into the CS, changed things around without her approval, she will have to move out when she and Luke reunite. They will find a house they both love and start anew.

I like April also and what she has done for Luke, I just don't like how ASP had Luke act last season with Lorelai when he found out.

Luke has shown more growth with April than Lorelai has since the break up.

Lorelai also painted Luke's diner. But I would doubt she feels she now owns part of it.

As for VM as April, I liked her a lot better in season 6. This season, she seems to be acting a little over the top. Maybe ASP sat on everybody ... VM included.
