Hi everyone. I’d like to remind you all that this is the main Gilmore Girls spoiler thread, and as such, posters from various shipper groups are free to post here, so if you see someone saying something that you don’t like about “your” favorite character or couple, don’t start fighting with them on this thread, and don’t go into a Gilmore Girls shipper thread if you don’t like the couple that the shipper thread is for. People are free to criticize upcoming events on Gilmore Girls as they read the upcoming spoilers, but don’t use this thread as a free-for-all to bash any characters or couples that you don’t like, or their fans, or you’ll find that you’ll be deprived of the privilege of reading and speculating about Gilmore Girls spoilers again here. TheCW: STARS HOLLOW THROWS A "KNIT-A-THON" — When Christopher (David Sutcliffe) questions Lorelai (Lauren Graham) about why she has avoided involving him in the daily life of Stars Hollow, she admits her concern that her old friends may not accept him. Christopher makes an effort to bond with the townspeople, and Lorelai brings him to the town knit-a-thon, where his well-intentioned gesture brings the event to an early end. When Olivia (Michelle Ongkingo) throws a 2002-themed birthday party for Lucy (Krysten Ritter), Rory (Alexis Bledel) gets her chance to confront Marty about his coldness toward her. Finally, Luke (Scott Patterson) is touched by the birth of Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite) and T.J.’s (Michael DeLuise) baby, and when he learns that Anna (Sherilyn Fenn) is planning to move to New Mexico with April (Vanessa Marano), he demands equal rights as a parent. Liza Weil also stars. Kenny Ortega directed the episode written by David Grae.

TVGuide:Stars Hollow prepares for a knitathon and Lorelai, who's participating, worries that the townsfolk aren't ready to accept her and Christopher as a couple; Anna stuns Luke when she tells him that she and April are moving to New Mexico; Rory and her friends throw Lucy a 2002-themed birthday party, where Rory finally confronts Marty about his indifference toward her; and T.J. tells Luke that Liz, who's ready to give birth at any moment, wants to have the baby at home.

TVGuide HotList: The newlyweds have run the gauntlet of Rory, Lorelai's parents and Luke (in one silent, heartbreaking moment). One hurdle remains: The quirky inhabitants of Stars Hollow. Lorelai worries that they're not ready to accept Chris, and now Chris has his proving grounds — the annual knit-a-thon. And it may be easier for Chris to pass through the eye of a knitting needle — I know they don't have eyes, just go with it — than to win the approval of the townsfolk. Chris thinks it went well, but Lorelai senses the tension and isn't happy. Luke sees them from the diner, and it hurts to see them together.

Episode 7.10 - Merry Fisticuffs

TheCW: LUKE AND CHRISTOPHER COME TO BLOWS — Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) share a sweet moment when Luke introduces her to Liz’s new baby. Christopher (David Sutcliffe) witnesses the scene and it adds to his concern that Lorelai isn’t fully committed to their marriage. The next day, Lorelai and Christopher get into a fight over whether they should exchange vows at the elaborate wedding party Emily (Kelly Bishop) is throwing for them. Luke contacts a lawyer over his custody troubles with Anna, then runs into Christopher and the two have an ugly confrontation in the streets of Stars Hollow. Meanwhile, when Logan (Matt Czuchry) discovers that Rory and Marty (Wayne Wilcox) have been pretending that they just met, rather than admitting their previous friendship to Lucy (Krysten Ritter), he reveals the truth to Lucy. Finally, Emily gives Lorelai a warning about her marriage. Sean Gunn also stars. Jackson Douglas directed the episode written by David Rosenthal.

TV Guide: Lorelai dreads each day that she meets with her mom and a prominent party planner in anticipation of the upcoming wedding party. Meanwhile, Lorelai and Christopher can't seem to agree on plans for their future, and she usually gets her way; Logan is in town and Rory takes him to the Yale cafeteria, where they run into Marty, and Rory explains the whole awkward reunion she had with Marty and their subsequent deception with Lucy; and Luke decides to talk to a lawyer about April.

Sides for 7.10 include a Lawyer, Dennis, Nadine, Brandon, Jacob and Randall. (We don’t have the sides, just the names of characters being cast.) “Sheila” side added. (Sheila is an ongoing YDN staffer. Possibly old sides are being used to cast a new character.)

He disappeared behind the camera set up, but whatever goes down involves Lorelai and Chris because after a few minutes they walked off in the direction Luke had come from and Lorelai had her arm around Chris. Luke was wearing his green coat and the black hat.

From Ausiello: This episode marks a major turning point in the Luke/Lorelai/Christopher triangle. Apparently, Luke and Christopher choose to deal with Richard's health crisis in very different ways: Luke chooses to run around helping Emily, while Christopher chooses to go off and sulk about a bad fight he had with Lorelai. Cue the inevitable Lorelai epiphany.

I also saw flags when Lorelai was explaining the move to Rory - she made it sound like Gigi was going to be sleeping in the trundle bed under Rory's bed in Rory's bedroom. Not the other way around. And Lorelai' statement, "Nothing changes between you and me, kid" - OH yeah. Sure.

That was exactly was Lorelai didn't do since she asked Rory and she was totally fine with sharing a room with her sister.

Sharing is the keyword. She doesn't share the room with her because all of her stuff is going to live in the garage now. It's going to be turned into Gigi's room completely. I don't have a problem with Rory giving her room to Gigi I have a problem with HOW Chris handled the situation. It was his way and he didn't except anything else. Lorelai just told Rory she would share her room with Gigi and they put that bed in there but she didn't tell her they are going to paint the walls pink or move her furnuture. I bet when Rory comes home she doesn't even have her bed in there anymore.

Ciao, how nice of you to be concerned for little Rory's welfare. But since YOU have been saying that after 7.13 things will change, then why the need for concern? Because you already KNOW that poor Rory won't have to watch Lorelai and Chris raise GiGi together.

beautifullauren, that question about why BB's like Chris is asked weekly here. When Peachy asked why Sophies liked Chris a few threads back, I actually took the time to think about it, and write an honest personal response (since I can't speak for all Sophies). You know what response MY post got? ZERO. Nothing. The JJ's that ask that question may claim to want to know, but they aren't really interested in knowing, they just want to act like there are no sane reasons for not hating Chris with a passion. Also, perhaps you should try giving people more then a few hours before proclaiming that BB's can't find any reasons. Since many people only check the thread once or twice a day.

I don't think that it's wrong to move Rory's stuff out of her room. It's how Christopher wanted to go about it that was wrong.

What bothers me about Christopher now is not that he underestimates Lorelai and Rory close relationship, but that seems like he already gave up on his older daughter again. He said to Lorelai at the end of Go Bulldogs that was too late to be Rory's dad and, since then I feel like he dismisses every thought about her...

first of all, you can call me Sanja

second, i'm not saying you have to answer it right away, but there were some BB's on the thread at the moment and didn't answer it, so i though they're ignoring me.
and i'm interested in knowing, cause i know why i like LL, i want to know why somebody likes CL and Chris.

i don't want to make fun of you, i really wanna know. but if you think that i will make fun of your response, then don't answer it. see, that's why i didn't ask it on BB's thread, cause i know people would respond like you, even worse.

I would have added sharing a room when she comes for a visit. She will not visit SH as much when she starts working so she really doesn't need a room. But it always nice to have a place to sleep when you visit your parents so you feel welcome.

I'm sure GiGi will be happy to have her own room and I'm sure April would have been the same if Luke had been the one moving in.
