I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that the way Lorelai keeps "petting" and indulging Christopher is more maternal/sibling then anything romantic. It's just not an adult/sexy relationship. The blurb from the extra said "cute" and that's being nice. And thank you, who ever said drop the 22 year thing already!!! Suddenly Lorelai is prefacing her every remark with "For the last 22 years......" aaghh!! For the last six years she's been doing everything to show she wants to get away from her past and make a real and meaningful life for herself and Rory, are we supposed to think this was all a sham? There's the 22 year old T-shirt, the 22 year memory of this and that and the other. Enough. Shouldn't one of them, either Christopher or Lorelia say, "Hey, arn't we supposed to be married here in the present? Don't we have anything (other then endless cutsey babble and tense uncomfortable decisions) to say to eachother about the present?" Oh for the days of the snappy to the point and pertinent to real life exchanges between Luke and Lorelai. Oh for the days of a sexy adult relationship. At least this weeks show had feeling and drama, so things are looking up. But if they do have Loor and Chriss brake up how will they ever bring back the zing? If they do I will be truely impressed.

It's true. DS and LG are dating. Have been since S1. They've been trying to keep it quiet but this season, well there's no hiding it now, with all the cutesy scenes and handholding. ASP and DR wrote this storyline because those two crazy kids couldn't stand to be apart all these years and wanted to work together so they can be cute and hold each other's hands 24/7.

Oh, you were talking about Lorelai and Christopher, not LG and DS? Pardon me. The target of your insinuation wasn't clear. I should have known though since no one here ever gossips about the private lives of actors on the show.

Thanks Gjoni for bringing over that part of the blog of the woman playing the real estate person ... yep, that will get Lorelai a bit anxious ... a new house. My spec is that everything that is actually pretty great about the house, will be very critically examined by Lorelai. Finding reasons why this is not the house. Which will make Chris wonder how much she really wants this ...

No, you know full well I was talking about LG and DS. However, I thought the extra was calling them cute and adorable when they were not in character, which I thought was weird. Perhaps if you read all my posts, you would understand what I was saying more clearly.

And saying something is weird, is not gossiping. I never said anything outright. I never commented on the goodness/badness of if they were really dating. Please don't put words into my mouth, or make my intentions something they weren't.

I must say I also thought the extra was referring to LG and DS ... but well whether in character or out character I am sure they look cute together ... and I agree mentioning you find something weird is imo no gossiping ... okee, whatever really

Fake Promo for the Future (we see it just before hiatus starts).
If anyone here is a lawyer or knows rights or stuff, please tell me. I wanna get paid of the EPB decides to copy me (well, my spec at least)

Disclaimer: I know as much about the future of the story as any of you do. I'm just inferring based on my guesses/assumptions.

"A rekindled friendship gets intense" (Cue cute scene with L/L and loving stares, prob a 7.10/7.11/7.12 scene--OOOhhh...are they gonna cheat on Chris?)

"A marriage falls apart" (Cue watching Chris being mopey in 7.13, cut to Lorelai with a sad face in a C/L scene - ep 7.10-7.12 scene)

"And a crisis-" (Cue siren sounds and seeing Richard pushed quickly on a hospital moving bed in a hurry)

"-puts a family -" (Cue Lorelai with a terrified face. Cut to Emily, yelling, with a sense of urgency and anxiety on her face, at the doctor/nurse "You're not going to let him (die), or it's going to be on your head!")

"-in turmoil." (Rory on her cell phone in new BFFs room, pain-stricken face. "Mom?!", Cut to Lorelai on her cell phone, saying in extreme panic and urgency "I NEED you here!" Cut to Richard in hospital bed, looking real bad.)

"Stay tuned...it's all coming up, February 6, on Gilmore Girls. Here on the new CW."

Man, I feel like I've done an EPB for a friggen ER soap opera.

Come on ... I am sorry that I am butting in, but well, since I am reading all this ... It was exactly the same thing I thought when I read that blog of the extra. I also thought she was referring to Lauren and David and well calling them cute and all, my mind definitely also wondered thinking into the direction of the unless ... Sarah posted. So what, that ain't gossiping. I am not saying that is so, Sarah is not saying that is the case. It just made me wonder. Doesn't mean I am gonna state that LG and DS are more than just collegues. It was a thought that came to mind though. I am sure Sarah also knows that we cannot claim anything based on this. It was just a thought ... big frakking deal ...

ETA I am kind of confused what Sarahs sig, quoting TheJSW, has to do with this ... if you want to explain, please do. If not, of course that is fine also. It's not as if I am not confused most of the time anyway

If I'm not mistaken, even when DS/LG aren't on camera for the woman's close shots, they still have to be in character to say the lines and everything off camera.

Blaab, i like that spec about Lorelai being overly critically of the house. imo, lots of little things have to build up chris's concerns, and that would be another great one.

Luke sees red, and the rest takes place after the scarf and jacket come off.
