And by the way they are moving all of Rory's stuff into the garage. Shouldn't at least one see Luke's boat in there

Yep this act of Chris is really gonna go down well in the long run, along with the fact Lorelai thinks she could have been talked out of it. Rory is being replaced by GG and the house Luke re built how Lorelai wanted is being changed.

And now we hear the divorce is gonna be dragged out for most of the season, Geez big shock there!

WHen he busted out with that, "I'm her FATHER." I actually giggled. It reminded me of his "I knew her first" rant. (Duh. If you didn't know her first, Rory wouldn't know her now.)

That's cool Craig. I am probably just overly sensitive tonight. My cold has been making me cry when I say hello to people. And it is making me as moody as PMS.

Well I don't have PMS but I had a very bad head cold (is there a good head cold) a few days ago, dizzy spells, hot/cold flashes, headache, running noise, could not eat...oh wait that’s how this show makes me feel some weeks

ITA the "I'm her father", he's making the rule's and Lorelai is not gonna take that for long, in "her house" the one she has been in for 10 years and raised Rory for half her life.

It seemed more about communication to me. Which is something Lorelai needs to work on no matter who she's with. They're married. That should mean trust and communication. She should have told him that Rory was upset. It can't be her and Rory BFF anymore excluding everyone else.

But I don't think she's gotten that out of her mind yet. If she could have been talked out of it, then it's not this perfect wonderful thing. So it is still her and Rory against the world for now. I wonder what will happen with Lorelai and Rory's relationship when C/L divorce.

Heh. But didn't she say that nothing was going to change for them? I am wondering if we don't see some little thing that Rory tells Lorelai, thinking it's in confidence and Lorelai passes it on to Chris, because he finally wants to feel included. (Kind of like Chris calling Lorelai last year about the moving thing.) Just a little way to drive home, once again, that things are different.

It was the exclusion of all else that I wanted to emphasize. She and Rory can still be really close but she can't just not tell Chris something liket that. It effects him too.

I got what you were saying. I was just pointing out that Lorelai doesn't seem to see it that way, yet. I think in her mind she is married to Chris. Chris also happens to be Rory's dad. But, those two identities are in no way consolidated in her mind. I didn't see her treatment of how to handle Rory as being any different with Chris, than it was with Max or Luke. Almost like her husband, no matter who it is, is unimportant to her and Rory. Does this make sense?

Well all I can say is they are gonna have problems if Lorelai is keeping things and her feelings from Chris, like she did Luke. Luke for all his faults last season did keep Lorelai updated on April every day, he thought things were find 'cause Lorelai nevery said anything and I can see something like that happening again.

It makes a lot of sense and I agree with you. My comment was more trying to say that what Chris said to her wasn't out of line even if everyone wants to hate every little thing he does.

I get that. Although his tone pissed me off. But, generally that seems to be his prupose on the show, for me.
