That's fair enough, but it's up to each person to decide for themselves about spoilers. Personally, I never believe a spoiler until it comes from a person with a proven track record. A first time poster, with no track record who knows the complete story for L/L until the end of the season? I reserve the right to be sceptical of it.

I'm willing to believe the spoiler... I'm just not willing to start thinking about the finale, especially one that would include LL together when we don't even have any sign of that anywhere else. And I don't want to spec yet on another finale that'll break my heart until we have an 8th finalized.

i have no reason to doubt the poster... just I know things can change... SL can changed, etc... it's too soon to take that as gospel.

You know what I don't get? when Lorelai was engaged to Max, the whole town was okay with it..and he was an outsider!! And here's Chris, who is Rory's FATHER, and the whole town doesn't like him (sure it's cuz they wanted L and L together), but I find it kind of mean of them to not like Chris.

Think about this, even if Luke DOES go to NM, I would find it rediculous for them to NOT show him there, adjusting, etc. Just dropping a main character? couldn't happen. Plus, LG and AB aren't even contracted for a season 8, no one is. I don't get why their focusing on him. Is he demanding more moolah?

I believe the basis of the spoiler but things can change and we already know SP said if the girls are back then he would be also. It's a perfect cliffhange (not original) and an easy way out is SP didn't want back.

IMO if S8 happens then SP will be back, Luke will not leave SH but visit April off scene on a regular basis, leaving the SL wide open for L&L to get married and for April to show up from time to time, like at the wedding.

BTW - sometimes people will make an account to jsut post a one off spoiler to protect them from being bugged on their normal account.

Well, being Luke the one who said that, you could be right if you were talking about Luke marrying Chris... but you know what?.. Lorelai LOVES the fancy things.. remember.. the sushi, the diamonds, Martha's Vinneard, Paris, that basket with fancy gifts that she got from that guy who wanted to give her a job in Paris (Mike something) in a way or in the other Paris put Lorelai apart from Luke.

Well the town saw what a great dad he was all those years and what Luke did for the girls. Besides they always wanted Luke and Lorelai together and they finally got that and now she shows up with Chris. They all know how much Lorelai meant and still means to Luke and that's going to kill him.

She says she likes to be wooed but at the end of the day she goes to Luke and she's happy with just being with him. At the end she doesn't care about stuff like that.

If LL get together before her divorce and that's the reason Luke loses the custody case, then once again I bet we'll get hell and turmoil with LL, not just about the question of seperation again if he does leave for NM but also - she'll feel guilty for being a cause in his loss, he'll blame her (consciously or not), they won't talk about it, they won't communicate, grow apart .....

Well IMO the big difference is this was before Luke & Lorelai hooked up, also the show was new so less crazy fans for them, less spoilers.

because when she was engaged to max, she wasnt with luke for 2 years before that .. thats my guess
