It doesn't matter who you ship. You made a general comment and I commented back that the episode DID go somewhere.

I disagree with Lorelai giving Chris Rory's room. My room was given away when my parents realized I was never coming home again. My mom took it probably as emotionally as Lorelai but she worked through it.

I think that Chris will be hurt the most. I don't think this will effect Rory the way people are hoping it will. The same way their marriage didn't effect her (not talking about the actual wedding sans her).

It seems as if people are hoping Rory will be highly effected by the LLC sl, but, really, she isn't.

Since Cary Grant is the guy she left for treating her like crap, from the old money family,but marries at the end of the movie. (And the fact that they referred to Christopher as Cary Grant in Partings...) I am going to guess Luke is thinking it's Mr. Haden.

Chris will be in at least four of the last nine episodes, including the last one. He'll be around because he's dragging out the divorce. Luke and Lorelai will get back together before the divorce is final. Anna will use this against Luke in the custody trial, and he'll lose, and she'll take April to New Mexico. The season will end with Luke having to decide between staying in Stars Hollow or going to be with April. (My source's theory is that this leaves them an out if Scott Patterson comes up with more unreasonable demands for his contract.)

I just don't get this journey...if she's so damn happy and so damn certain...its going to seem wayyyyy ********** implausible when she gets back with Luke...if she does. I just don't get it or see it. I kept watching tonight to see if it would start making sense to me, but her storyline just hasn't to me all season.

it basically showed luke feeling that things could have been different if he actually went through with the marriage .. his face was priceless when he saw the ring on her finger

but am i the only one who did not like the LL scene???? ahh i dont like how DR writes =/ i want AS-P back (wow, never thought i would say that)

the episode was awful for me .. RL r just back where they were before, and LC are happily married .. and it looks like LL have no future ! i am losing my faith .. even after seeing all the spoilers for 7.10 and 7.15

Maybe I expected more from the L&L parts and it affected how I read the recap, I'll reserve final judgement until I see the ep.

So how did Lorelai act when Chris asked about April, also how did Luke look when he was in Aprils room at the end?

At least Luke can't be held acountable for April getting sick.

i agree, i hate how, like emily says "flits from man to man." but she was never supposed to be with chris anyway. it was a momentary lapse of judgement! hahaha.. and i agree she should take some time, but whatever it takes to have L&L back toghether, i guess im good with!
