No one from Logan's family shows up, which infuriates Rory, prompting her to call Mitchum. Meanwhile, Luke throws a party for April and her friends at the diner, but panics when the bash is a bomb, and he calls Lorelai to come to the rescue. Sue: Morgan Matzke. Laura: Cassidy Lehrman. Anna: Sherilyn Fenn. Courtesy Fraz and The WB: LORELAI BEGINS TO BOND WITH APRIL — Luke (Scott Patterson) decides to give April (Vanessa Marano) a birthday party at the diner. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) volunteers to help, and is hurt when Luke explains that he still thinks it’s too soon for April and Lorelai to meet. However, Luke changes his mind when the party is a disaster, giving Lorelai a chance to bond with April while turning the party into a huge success. Meanwhile, Rory (Alexis Bledel) rushes to be with Logan (Matt Czuchry) at the hospital after he is seriously injured during a stunt with the Life and Death Brigade. Melissa McCarthy, Yanic Truesdale, Liza Weil and Sean Gunn also star. "Partings" - Stars Hollow is suddenly overrun with troubadours when news gets out that the town's regular street performer (Grant-Lee Phillips) has been discovered. On the evening of Logan's graduation from Yale, Rory throws him a wild party, but the knowledge that he is being forced to leave for London the next day makes their time together bittersweet. Meanwhile, at a Friday night dinner, Emily and Richard attempt to set Christopher up with an attractive young woman. Finally, Lorelai decides she was wrong to let Luke postpone their wedding for so long and delivers a tearful ultimatum. Musical guests include Sonic Youth, Sam Phillips, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Yo La Tengo, Sparks, Joe Pernice and Dave Gruber Allen.

Now living in Richard and Emily's pool house, Rory will face a stiff penalty of community service to pay for her yacht-stealing prank. Meanwhile, Emily is thrilled to have more time with her beautiful granddaughter and even convinces Rory to join her as a member of the DAR. Lorelai's life is focused on her romance with Luke and her job as the proprietor of the Dragonfly Inn, which she co-owns with her best friend and fabulous chef Sookie St. James (Melissa McCarthy). Lorelai even goes so far as to adopt an adorable but neurotic dog at the Star Hollow Pet Adoption Fair. Still, nothing can fill the void Lorelai feels while she and Rory are barely speaking to one another. In addition to her estrangement from Lorelai, Rory has also drifted away from her best friend, Lane Kim (Keiko Agena, Felicity), who has spent the summer touring with her rock band. This season, Rory and Lane will vow to renew their friendship. Rory's intense former classmate Paris Geller (Liza Weil, Stir of Echoes) is as upset as Lorelai when she learns that Rory has left Yale. Surprisingly, Rory's wealthy and self-indulgent boyfriend, Logan, is also concerned about Rory decision to leave school and is convinced that she's making a mistake. | What can CHRIS do for you? "Get me a soda, a castle, and a Ferrari." From those spoilers over at Twop, Chris might actually surprise us. He might just take care of his friend. That would be a much different way then Chris has effected Lorelai and Luke before. Those spoilers do make me think that ASP is pulling the double-switch. We all THINK Lorelai and Chris did the deed. When, in fact, Lorelai slept, and Chris slept next to her. Luke would probably still blow a gasket. Again, he had a hand in the situation. Luke does not want to ELOPE. How exactly does Luke come to this point? Why doesnt he take the BIG HONKIN LEAP OF FAITH? | |||
