We've been waiting months for practically nothing...do I remember wrong or are these the most blacked out sides ever (for GG)? ANd it seems they're balcking out even not very important things, like a sentence of Marylin, which is hidden in a document and not in the other...

ETA: of course thanks a lot for the sides!

I did a quick Google search and "The Long Morrow" is the name of a Twilight Zone episode. Here's the Wikipedia summary:
Quote:
Stansfield, an astronaut, is sent to a planetary system 141 light-years from Earth. The ship he will be taking is able to make it to the system in 20 years, with a return trip of 20 years as well. To save him the horror of forty years of loneliness, he is to be placed in (newly-developed) suspended animation. Before leaving, he meets and is enchanted by colleague Horn. In just one evening they develop a mutual fondness.

Stansfield goes on his mission and 40 years later he returns (sadly, the job he was sent to do already completed using technology developed since left). He thus returns a forgotten pioneer. It is revealed on his arrival that he voluntarily disabled the suspended animation system about six months into his journey and so that he would be Horn's age. Shortly after he'd left, however, Horn had had herself placed in suspended animation so that she would be his age. In the tragic end, Stansfield sadly urges Horn to live her new life without him.
Don't know if it's relevant ...

Just looks like they don't want a repeat of what happened in the last season finale. I think it's a smart move by TPTB.

My only question is, how into references is DR compared to ASP?

More: Can we read into things (like titles?) to have certain meanings? Or are they just that; titles? Hmmm....

I'm kinda happy about all the blackouts... I mean, there was no need for ASP to let us see all of that final scene.

I'm just content now with what we have... at least we know GG is still funny

So...sides are out.

Take care guys! I'll be nonspoiled as best I can!

BTW...can someone (pretty please) PM me with an answer to the following questions:
(I don't want to be spoiled but I'm still curious"

1. Does the sides indicate that the episode possibly takes place right after 6.22, or is there a 2-4 month time skip?
2. For the JavaJunkie fans: Are sides hopeful? Or not hopeful?
3. If anyone can judge based on the little bit of sides: Is DR writing the story in a good direction or is it soap opera crappy?

if people don't want to know what happens (ie, the final scene) then they don't have to be spoiled. Blackouts suck.....this is a spoiler thread...

It's a spoiler thread for a reason.

Sides! I'll take anything, blackouts and all. "The Long Morrow" seems a very apt title for LL and RL...their despair stretching out indefinitely...

(and I'm half-glad there wasn't anything about Lorelai and Chris. I'm not quite psychologically prepared yet)

ETA: Sher--I didn't know the RL site was back up again! It looks great...thanks for that on your sig,

Yea seriously, even the spoiler-free people can read these sides.

Good question. We can only hope so.

I agree. I don't think anyone is yet. No matter how much we think we are lol.

The fact that Luke doesn't like being pressured is hardly a state secret. That Paris prefers dealing with dumb as opposed to lazy is, however, new.
