I agree, Captain, it doesn't necessairly have to mean any of the rest have to do with L/L. Maybe Lane & Zack go car shopping? They have 2 babies now, and, as far as we know, no vehicle. Perhaps the argument is Lorelai & Emily? Possibly over the destroyed doll house?

Fernando? For Luke? Really?

Although if Luke breaks Lorelai's doll house that could lead to a big fight, with Lorelai buying a car to run Luke over with
BWAH!

I still think it is Lane and Zach for the car, and I am leaving the argument up for grabs.

I am, to paraphrase what they say on talk radio a long, long, long time 'lurker', but a first time poster. As the punch line to the old joke for why the child didn't speak until he was seven, and the reply was "up until no everything was perfect"

Lou Piniella is the manager of the Chicago Cubs Baseball Team (and to make this more on topic, he managed the Yankees when SP was in the Yankees minor league system and both were in the movie Little Big League ). Anyhow, Lou is known for having a hot temper and for losing his temper when things go unfairly on the field.

Off the field, Lou is very much a Luke Danes type - gruff exterior, warm, kind hearted on the inside, and willing to go more than the extra mile for people.

Which is to say, that The JSW (which is okay, cause any friend of the Ninth Doctor is surely a friend of mine) went John Crichton for a second, and went with the easy pop culture reference for throwing down thus causing me to go all Scotty because someone had insulted the ship.

So, back on topic, thank you Jason for the Spoilers

Did anyone besides me think that the fact that both Emily and Rory chose to take a road trip when the men in their lives were driving them crazy, was an object lesson for Lorelai (ie, she should have gotten in the Jeep and just driven away after the ultimatum in Partings?)

Okay, I'll go back to lurking for several more years now

Welcome. However, we have no Tribbles or Klingons to make you go all Scotty. We are thankful, though, that you didn't go all Worf on us.

If who wins isn't important, than why keep score?

I can imagine a huge argument between Lane/Zach and Mrs. Kim about how safe should the car be for the kids! Something like Emily and the kid blockage...

Me. Right now I feel like digging out my old acid washed jeans and high top Reeboks.

I'm thinking whatever happens to the doll house is an accident.

Paul Anka?

Another topic (here):
Quote:
A media group recently analyzed Neilsen ratings to figure out what the rich are watching and it turns out they don't watch reality television and are not big fans of CBS. In fact America's wealthiest viewers are watching Scrubs, Friday Night Lights, Studio 60, 30 Rock, Desperate Housewives, What About Brian, Grey's Anatomy and The Office. Besides Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy, none of these shows are what I would call ratings juggernauts.
The study even broke down the average incomes for each network. Let's see where you fall.

"ABC’s audience has a median income of $64,000, based on adults 25-54 in fourth quarter, compared to NBC’s $60,000, CBS’s $59,000, Fox’s $53,000 and the CW’s $45,000.

I would agree with that. But the fact that it was destroyed could mean a lot of different things to several different people.

Welcome TheOptimist

The car thing IMO it tied to L&L - MA wrote

after their whole diner reunion. It involves car shopping and a really big argument
Why would he word it like that it is was not to do with L&L?

I was also thinking we know the gazebo gets new lights, so maybe it is some contest Lorelai sings in, in ep 20?

ETA - Mag13 not that I watch the CW, since I don't live in the US but if I was I'd really be bringing DOWN that average LOL

Teenagers don't make that much money. More teenagers=happy advertisers & lower median income

There's a period separating the various items, not a comma. A period denotes a new thought. A comma would more clearly indicate that all of the items listed are linked.

Thanks, Mag. Maybe the median income thing will help FNL get a 2nd season, cause I will be very disappointed if it doesn't. Also, some of those are ratings hits, very much so.
