Did they hang the flat screen tv over the dollhouse? I can't remember.

I was thinking that the huge flat screen is close to the Dollhouse, so maybe as she is taking it down, it crashes into the dollhouse and breaks it. (That is if it is even still there at all!)

Shouldn't we be getting some titles soon? Sometimes they can give us a bit more insight into upcoming episodes...although sometimes they just confuse us even more!

BTW, thanks for the thread, title and spoiler!

The flat screen was gone in 7.16, so maybe something else causes it to break.

When could you tell it was gone (like, in which scene) because I was looking for it, and it seemed like they did a pretty good job of keeping the TV area just out of our view. I would like to go back and see it too, or not see it as it were!

I haven't seen SassyPaws here, maybe she is scared about the whole figthing here, so I'll tell you something that her source said abouy SP and she mentioned in TWOP.

Apparently, some producers want him in their series, in one case they want him for a series that already exists, but he is staying loyal to GG and expecting for some news.

And this is my personal thougth (not spoiler or nothing) after knowing those things: I imagined grumpy Luke surrounded by Desperate Housewives.

I don't think the camera angle ever pulled back far enough to be able to tell. These caps all are inconclusive. Here, here, here & here.

Thanks for the thread, Caf.

Thanks for the dollhouse info, JSW.

I'm curious as to how and by whom it's destroyed.

I agree with both, that was the first direction I took when trying to analyze the info. It also represents the repression and suffocating existence she felt she was experiencing as a child - didn't she tell Rory she wasn't even allowed to ever play with it, that it was encased in glass and was only meant to be seen?

This is also true. It might be metaphorically liberating, but it will be sad to see and sad for lorelai at first, I think.

But, I admit, depending on the circumstances of its destruction, I also thought it could symbolize that LL have had enough of playing house the first time around and now's time to rebuild a house, and turn it into a real home.

My friend mentioned it when we were watching the episode. In the scene where Sookie is at Lorelai's there's a shot where at least part of the flat screen should have been visible, just because it was so huge, but it wasn't.

I might be wrong though and it's still there. But why would Chris leave something at Lorelai's which meant so much more to him than to her?

Thanks Lemon...that is what I thought I remembered. I was going to have to go rewatch it...heck, maybe I will anyway!

So I am currently speccing that it has something to do with the Plasma tv...could be totally wrong, and I usually am...but I guess I am bound to be right some time!

Any other specs?

Outside of season 8 and this; that's all we have from our tours.

Hey Jason, I usually post on TWOP, and haven't been here in a long time, but I wanted to thank you and Sara very much for your season eight spoiler!! That is such wonderful news!! My only problem is, why haven't we heard about this anywhere else?? Like Zap2it, or Ausiello?? How come the tour guides told you the news if it hasn't been released to the media yet?? Sorry, I want to believe it, and part of me does, but the cynical side of me has all these questions. I would really appreciate more confirmation. Did the guides tell you when the CW was going to make it official? Thanks so much!!

I don't think it symbolizes that, but her letting go of the baggage, the past that was holding her back before, which I do think the destroying of the DH represents, will make it more possible to have this real home and really sharing a life with Luke. And of course mostly to have a better relationship with her parents! I guess I feel this will have a positive effect on many parts of her life!
