I don't know if we need to see Sookie "drop another sucker" as Luke would put it, but if we get S8 then of course it will happen and may be another step along the road for L&L to have a pancake

If we do have a season 8, I'd hope that we could come back after a nice summer time skip to have Sookie having had the baby sometime during the break, since MM would already have had her baby during the shooting break.

Rory: [standing in front of Logan close to the door in his apartment as she angrily shouts at him] You are being a jerk!

Logan: [walking away from Rory] Well, maybe that’s who I am!

Promoguy: What’s the best way to deal with man trouble?

Scene: Rory raising both hands on top of her head and exhaling in frustration. Fades to a frontal close up of Logan who then turns his head to the side in frustration.

Lorelai: [Raising her hands out wide and up as if she’s just had a brilliant idea] Oh! [Lorelai is either in the hotel room or a dressing room]

Scene: Four cars driving behind each other on a local road with many trees on the side. Looks like Emily’s car is in the lead. The third car moves into the next lane to make a pass as it honks.

Promoguy: An all girls’ road trip!

Scene: Close up of all three girls in the car. Lorelai is looking back at Rory who is smiling in the back seat. Emily is looking in the driver’s side mirror.

Promoguy: It’s the Gilmore Girls …

Scene: Lorelai turns her head around to face forward. Fades to a close up of Emily and Lorelai in the front seat of the car. Lorelai’s mouth is opened in an “Ahh” expression. Fades to a close up of Rory with a beautiful smile on her face

Promoguy: gone wild!

Lorelai: [Close up of Lorelai smiling while sitting at a table in the restaurant as seen in the CW promo] That’s when the party gets started.

Scene: Close of a very serious looking Emily at the wheel in the car.

Promoguy: All new Gilmore Girls, Tuesday at 10, 9 central on Global

Scene: All three girls in the car. Emily and Lorelai are looking forward and Rory is looking back through the rear window and then looks forward.

I agree, maybe this time they will end the season and have no need to do the stuff they have for the last 3 season, it only leads to bad wigs!

So yeah having S8 pick up just after Sookie has the kid would be nice, maybe Luke (and Lorelai) are back from their summer boat trip. L&L are back in full swing and things are back to normal. Now depending on if they get married in S7 they could be planing that, which really needs to happen within the first 5-6 eps, although a winter wedding would be nice. My only problem with S8 is what will DSR do to keep people interested, maybe he's mess with Rory's SL?

As far as I can tell by what goes on here, there's still a lot to discuss even when we know others aren't going to change their opinions about something, it hasn't stopped us before. As long as I'm not told what I myself absolutely have to think or feel or believe, I personally have no problem with true believers who state and stick to their own opinions even if I disagree with them.

I'm not saying the other person has to bend, but when you have a discussion with someone who thinks that the opposing position is reprehensible, there's no reason to have a discussion at all.

Swan Song is great where Luke knows Lorelai so well with the list of clothes she owns.
