Does this mean that every wrong choice we've made is ingrained (engrained? I seriously don't know) in our character? Every failed relationship, every unhealthy decision, every moment of weakness? This is all part of the letting go theory we've been discussing. If you look at people as nothing more than a mirror that reflects their past, then you are looking at the world in a very sad, static way. Lorelai does not equal her poor decision to marry Christopher. She does not equal her poor decision to turn her back on Rory. Rory does not equal her poor decision to sleep with married Dean. Emily does not equal her poor decision to ask Christopher to put an end to LL. And so on, and so on.

My faith, both in religion and people, has taught me to look for the good in every person, regardless of their past. There is good in Christopher. I still stand by my statement that neither ASP nor DR ever intended for us to find Christopher detestable. More importantly, there is good in Lorelai. So much good that it's hard for me to understand how you cannot see her as a good person!

I understand that you will never like Christopher and you will never look at Lorelai the same, but by doing so, you aren't giving yourself any chance to like the show. Why do that, when we possibly have only six episodes left of this show that we clearly all adored at one point?

From your JJ point of view But not mine. I have found lots to like. It's difficult, knowing that we may only see LL together for a few if not one episode, but there are still things to enjoy about the show.

Naturally, did you really think I thought it could be any other way.
BTW, if this season marks the series' end, I hope the graduation isn't the last episode. I'd like to get a sneak peek a few months or even a year or two into the future of our main characters.

Lane's twins playing with Lorelai's twins.

I feel similarly about the show, though I'm still extremely bitter about what happened with LL.

If Mrs. Kim didn't want them to play in a sandbox, do you think she'd approve of them playing with Lorelai's kids? And personally, I hope it's not twins if Lorelai does have more kids (which I doubt we'd ever see/know about anyway).

Oh wow I never thought about that. If Lorelai has a baby with Luke, he/she will be younger than Lane's babies.

While I don't like the time jumps like they had in The OC I would love to see this

What is weird is watching older eps and thinking, wow Lane has TWINS before Lorelai!

Excerpts from Ask Matt

Quote:
I was surprised and impressed at how quickly The Office threw a monkey wrench into the Pam-Roy situation. And while this may come as a surprise, considering how down I've been on Gilmore Girls most of this season, I have enjoyed the more recent episodes once they washed their hands of Christopher (a touching breakup scene between him and Lorelai, but the circumstances leading up to it were as bogus as most of the rest of the season). [….]

But was I surprised to see the writers moving Logan back to jerk mode after he'd been such a rock for Rory lately? Just another reason to pray that this season is the last for Gilmore Girls, although the CW's dire ratings straits may force the network to renew the show for an eighth season, in one form or another. Whatever happens, I think after this season, I'll finally throw in the towel. That may give me time to watch Supernatural, should the CW renew it.

I'm for more happy times. Enough drama already.

Haha. It's funny. It's even more funny when it's within families. lol. I have a friend who has a niece and nephew older than her. Now she is a great aunt and she's only 22 or 23!

i don't like Matt's behaviour lately...i agree that season has been little rocky, but IMHO Gilmore Girls has anyway a great potential:many storylines can improve and i feel the characters' journey isn't finished.Rosenthal's decisions may not be good, but Gilmore Girls after seven season has a lot to offer despite all.How many shows have a lot to give and tell us after seven seasons?

Not a lot. I personally don't care what critics think.
