One, let me ignore the fact that a trilogy has to be something existing outside of an already existing work. Two, I do get your need to share, but do you understand how these moments of SHARING sort of cut into some of us? This is not that blog. This is a forum for people who are supposed to like the show. While you have explained to me how you think the above works. It's still frustrating. Whateverthecase, this show, is quality. It's still quality. Last night demonstrate as much...they just needed some time to keep on ROCK IT BABY...BABY...BABY...BABY...BABY...KEEP ON ROCKIN IT! ETA: If you add 18-22..you will get enough of an episode count to play with VM for over a month and a week. It would be a bit shocking if the CW let VM run without GG til the end of it's season.

I don't get this -- her basic sentiment was that the writing used to be better and the characters used to be more interesting. I don't fully agree, but why shouldn't she express her opinion? It is that kind of forum.

At this point I'm still hoping for a season 8 -- they still need to have Lorelai and Emily resolve some more of their issues, and that won't happen if it ends in S7 - there's just not enough time with the whole Luke-Lorelai thing and Emily-taking-care-of-Richard

IMO - GG will be back April 10 and VM a week later to have the same final ep date.

The Pussycat Dolls have 8 episodes in the season - it starts March 6 therefore should conclude April 24 unless they decide to double an episode somewhere in there. If they go by the concluding on April 24 then the VM finale will air outside Sweeps unless they do a 2 hour finale the week before.

GG - at the moment I'm looking at the following - could be right or wrong - all speculation on my behalf

7.18 - April 10
7.19 - April 17
7.20 - May 1
7.21 - May 8
7.22- May 15

If they don't do that then it'll be April 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15.

May Sweeps are April 26 - May 23. Therefore having VM coming back on May 1 with 3.16 -> May 22 (2 hour finale). Because there's no way in hell, CW will air the finale of GG on May 22 since it's the biggest night of the year for Idol (along with the following night when the winner is announced). So they'll either put all repeats that night or put a double VM episode which they know in terms of ratings is the equiv of a GG repeat.

Nadine, Ausiello said big news for ep 19, then said that may air April 17, meaning HBM April 10.

why would they have a break April 24, is there something special on that date? Double ep of The Pussycat Dolls?

Last season GG ended May 9, why wouldn't it end May 8 this season. When was AI final last year?

its like last year. It helps to get gg into sweeps without a super long spring hiatus.

The Sweeps start on April 26 - some networks tend to air repeats for their shows before that date. AI finale has always been the last two days of Sweeps. We're still trying to figure out what CW's plan will be that week (the week I'm referring to is the week Sweeps start not the AI finale week). The network originally planned to go with 6 to 7 weeks of repeats of the show. But then they changed their mind and decided to air 7.17 before the hiatus (so that got changed to 5 to 6 weeks) - so that's why it's hard to tell at this moment if they're going to renig on that or go with what Ausiello said.

Caf - I was thinking of a title that mentioned the change of seasons - not exactly sure what though

That because there was a break in feb.

This year we had no break between episodes during feb sweeps.

But that doesn't mean a think this year. Yes we could have a break April 24 and I agree if we came back April 10 it make some sense to have some break to have the final May 15. Who knows if this is the last season DSR might put together a special behind the scenes ep to air in one of those dates

caf can you change the title to SS Lurk, sounds less creepy!
