God - just watched LCSHF and wow did Luke have some good lines - "you left me hangin' here with the Lords of Flatbush" "Isn't Kansas lousy with wheat" - the whole cup of crack bit - that's the kind of stuff they haven't given new Luke this year and I really resent it - even if the writers aren't up to snuff they have got to give this guy back some dimension.

A few thoughts:
- While I totally see where Logan is coming from, he is not handling it well. I get that he's humiliated and all that lovely stuff because his first "proving himself" venture went bust in a big way. I get him wanting to take time off work and wanting to go away with his friends. Been there, done that. But, I don't get his "wallowing." Seriously, there comes a point where you just have to pick yourself up and face the music.

- And, where is Rory in all of this? She should be the one laying the smackdown on Logan.

- Ok, so they wanted to have Mitchum involved so they have him laying the smackdown. Perfectly acceptable. But, now Logan's going to quit and do what? Lounge around in Stars Hollow? Become Luke part deux? That's pathetic.

- That being said, I'm guessing there's a point to all of this - a point that I will eventually have my "AHHH!" moment over. I have a few theories, all of which I'd be more than happy with.

- I'm cool with Logan quitting HPG as long as he doesn't cut off his family ties. When it comes down to it family is all you got. Logan is destined to be great. I see potential for him to go far with a start-up business of some sort. This whole mess with the company will be a stepping stone and learning path for him. I can totally see Logan - actually, Logan and Rory - doing great things.

- In a nutshell, while I'm not completely sold on this sl, I do see its potential.

FYI - Veronica Mars is on hiatus until April 24, for it's final 5 eps of the season, if this is true then how does that affect Gilmore Girls?

ETA - tv.com also has GG listed for April 24 so maybe not?

I'm pretty sure that fewer episodes of VM were ordered this season. Maybe that is why they are starting up again a little later. There are fewer episodes remaining until May sweeps. But then again, I'm usually wrong and I don't know what I am talking (err...typing) about.

Me too. That was a great Luke episode. The beginning of the trilogy. Ah, the good ol' days when the writing was good and the characters interesting.

I thought VM had a 20 episode order? GG already aired MF without a VM to follow, so maybe they will start the week before? Why can they not have this already decided? Heh.

They probably have, we just have not been told, plus tv.com has both GG and VM starting April 24 so I wouldn't read to much into it right now.

I'm still betting on April 10!

VM definitely had a 20 episode order hence why The Pussycat Dolls installments are running as they are all through March and April. Gilmore Girls won't be affected by either of these now - however, they were originally supposed to go on hiatus with 7.16 but the network decided to air 7.17 as a lead-in for the debut of The Pussycat Dolls. At this moment I wouldn't be surprised if we get two episodes on April 10 and 17 - repeat on April 24 then new episodes for the Sweeps. That would allow GG to finish up on May 15.

So Nadine, will VM be back a week after GG to end on the same night and do you know when they might be back, I'm betting on April 10.
