I have an unreasonable hatred for Greg Henry's hair. It started in Partings. It's a mystery. If Logan has been acting the way he acted in the DC to Rory, I don't blame her for being pissy with him.

And is it just me, or did Luke sort of look like a bobble head when Zachk was going on about dinner?

As long as you don't make up spoilers ....

But believe me, I know how jumbled it gets up there. I often need to send search parties looking for some lost GG info.

Thanks so much blaab for the clips. My DVR cut off the very end of the ep, so I missed Lorelai's smile. It was nice to be able to watch it later. I appreciate the hard work that goes into making them available.

I loved the ep. They just keep getting better. With the quality of the recent eps, I'm really hoping there is a S8!

I also see a bigger chance for L/L to get together. This ep showed the changes each of them are making in order to sustain a committed relationship.

I also thought Logan's sl was very realistic. When people start to make positive changes, they usually revert back to their old ways when a crisis occurs. What really matters is what they learn from it. I really think that Logan is going to come out of this a better, stronger person, who knows what he wants to do with this life. I think the development of his character is becoming very interesting.

I think they are making Luke less "ranty" as he is making his life changes, and is recovering from life's setbacks. Although, I really hope he isn't gone forever. It's hard for me to believe that DR & Co. don't know about Luke's famous rants, and so I feel that a big one is coming.

Next week's ep looks fabulous. Emily on a road trip! What's not to love?

Me too, because remember what Lorelai said: "I love ranting Luke!" Don't we all - well, most of us.

Liked a lot about last night's episode, proof of my belief that to gain back what it lost the show has to have Lorelai in SH. I wonder if, seeing all the great characters and talent amongst the townspeople, if the writer's had a "Gadzooks, what a gold mine there is here, why have we been playing it down all season?" moment. Loved Zack singing and everything about the shower, especially Lorelai shining as the peacemaker between Lane and Mrs. Kim, and Lorelai and Sookie talking.
The only flaw was I just don't believe the Logan business disaster stuff. For something that big they have given it too little attention. It was everything's great one minute, then one very brief phone call from the staff in London, and then everything's a mess. Apparently "weeks" have passed since Logan's birthday and Chris moved out, and during this time Logan lost everything and Rory had no clue. It just seems fake and lacking in drama, even Rory and Logan discussed it in a rushed perfunctory way, as though the writer's only had the sketchiest of ideas about how this could happen and so went over it really fast.
The other question I have is re Luke's remark at the end about how "things change", couldn't tell from his and Lorelai's expressions how we are to read this. Does it mean he's given up the boat and a lot of his closed off clinging to his past ways and is willing to be a better romantic partner? Or does it mean he's given up his dream of finishing his Dad's boat and the dream of finally being with Lorelai?

Thank you for the head's up about the DCs and the clips and anything else I forgot to thank someone for today.

I can see why Rory would take Mitchum's side. Especially if the legal team has found a way out or a way to make the situation better, the fact that he is not going to work to try to clean up the mess or help out makes Logan look bad.
