I don't like Rory's dress. Not the color nor the fit seem right for her.
And I don't like the color scheme of Lorelai's either.
Here I conclude my educated fashion commentary. Fascinating, no doubt.

Hmmm. Tough choice on the titles. I think I'll vote for Mama Mia, Emily's here now since that episode is going to air before the one where Logan quits. The New and Improved Logan seems like a good title to save for that episode.

They mention them, you're right there - but the focus seems to be on their relationship - Rory's feelings about her parents only came out through the filter of their relationship.

Lorelai's dresses should probably show the gradual changes of her mood after the break-up with Christopher. I'm curious, when will we see Lorelai in light-colored dress?

Logan quitting and Mia getting married happens in the same episode (7.17).

It made perfect sense to me. If a season finale, you need to maintain the drama and keep the storyline going, so you keep it up in the air whether they are going to manage to stay together ... or get back together in the future.

Lorelai enjoys nice clothes, good food, traveling. It isn't wealth that she had problems with, it's her parents control of her. All of this is about control, which anyone can experience no matter what your walk of life. You can have a controlling working class parent, a controlling middle class parent, a controlling parent for cultural or religious reasons. Since E&R are wealthy and Lorelai rebelled against them, fans have made the erroneous conclusion that Lorelai would rather be poor. This makes little sense to me, when she obviously has ambitions for herself and her daughter. Why would she want her daughter to go to a hoity-toity private school and then to Yale? So that she'll be poor and meet people who are working class? So she will never have to sully herself with wealth?

Thanks for the HQ pics! KB looks great again. But those dresses... I think AB's looks better in the HQ, whereas I loved LG's before, just looking at the low quality ones, but now it just looks strange. I'm not a fan of all the patterns on LG. And what happened to Rory's beautiful dresses from last week? I'm not a fan of the more baggy dresses on her.

I love the Mia/Emily title.
