Your whole post ignores what I have been stating time and time again...IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU. It's not about your PERCEPTIONS. It's not about your OPINIONS. It's about the SHOW.

Share your opinions. Reveille in the HATE that usually connects those opinions to something totally disenfranchised from the show...itself. Seriously, revelling in hate is similar to me as someone rolling around in ****, glass, and needles. It's still hate. Even if it's POP CULTURE hate aka the LESSER OF THE HATES. If you want to roll with that...then go right ahead. However, opinions, are only a take on something. This show will explain everything to you...if you let it. That so many people love waving their opinions around like WINDEX...as if they eliminate the CANON of the show. Remains a step beyond for me.

So, if you want to share your opinions with people that feel like wise, then explain to me how this is an OPINION-heavy thread? Opinions...any one's opinions...of this show...do not give it enough respect. If you feel otherwise, then you feel otherwise. However, this show, is not about me, or my view of the universe. It's about the Gilmores, the Hollow, and everyone else in this world. That you fail to see how OPINIONS clutter up what the show is about...and lead to problems. Problems that arrive when folks cease discussing the show but only what they WANT TO SEE FROM THE SHOW. Well...that's bogus. It's bogus. Totally bogus, and I would have no part of anything where opinions override discussions which could be better off without them most of the time. Like these opinions here? They do not belong here. Yet, caf, again, here you go with this "The only question is whether those fans will still be able to discuss their opinions here on the FF Spoiler Board." There is a fundamental difference going on. Maybe we should split this board into SHOW SPECULATION AND OPINION and SHOW SPECULATION AND SPOILERS. That's the only way everything will ever work out from where I am sitting.

I like this! Even though I would prefer having seen both couples get married, I am still thinking if this is the last season we will not get to see LL hitched. Would I have loved to see that also, yeah, because I do love me some L/L ... but the way the story has played out over the last year, them simply being together or starting off again would still leave me all giddy!

If this is the last season, I think we won't get to see RL 'hitched' either. Engaged? Maybe; who knows. You won't hear me complaining.

Is this the end of S8, 'cause unless this week is a proposal I don't see it happening. And with every day that goes on and even week Lorelai doesn't go to the diner I don't see anything remotely like that happening with L&L this season. Going at the current rate the end of the season is going to be rushed and we might if lucky have L&L dating in the last 2 eps.

Craig, nah, that's the end of the series. I have no idea if we are going to get a season eight. Scott and Matt...the main love interest...apparently have pilots out there. That puts a big damper on my Troi sense, but I am hoping MONEY WINS in the long run. If Warners are smart. They can get paid by paying people. We will just see how cheap people will be with this show.

Caf, I do not find your post humourous. I find it to be all sorts of rude to me at the end of the post. While some people may dislike my bluntness. I severly dislike passive aggressiveness in post, and the last part of your post to me is passive aggressive. You know that's not the point that I am making. You know, but you decide to be a jerk to me anyway. Fine. Whatever. This is silly.

I will simply stated that you know what happened yesterday, and I stand by the first question you asked. That was not cool. Also, I guess, I would rather have impartial observers, then 12 post detailing how much Chris is SATAN WITH A FLATSCREEN. Again, specs, are speculations. They are different from opinions. Opinions are "THIS SUCKS." Opinions about this show seem to cause nothing more than problems. Since the opinions are usually not based on the show. There is nothing justifying in hating Lucas or Logan. Nothing. However, people do it, for their sake. That's my problem. I guess my sake will always come second to me when it comes to a good story. I do not drive that car. Someone else drives that car.

Nevertheless, feel how you want to feel, and all this other bladidy blah blah. I simply feel two people can watch the same show and get the same thing out of it. If they are impartial about it. If not, then, you get conflict. The only reason that we have conflict around here. Stems from our need to fit this big ol'universe called GILMORE GIRLS into a ****ing bite-sized piece edible for consumption. When really, all we are doing is denying ourselves nutrients, for no reason what so ever.

I liked that spec when you first posted it, and I still like it as a possible ending for 7.17. Given that it appears that there will be a time skip between 7.17 and 7.18, I think this could very well occur, since one would think there would be a Rory-Lane scene post-birth, assuming there is enough time at the end of what seems will be a quite packed episode.

If you mean Chris, heck, he's not that important. IMO, he's what some people would call a 'waste of oxygen'. People like him who are still so selfish when they're supposedly grown up, parents who act like they're more important than their own kids - well, not all that many viewers wanted to see so much of him either.

These characters have many stories and the writers have only a limited amount of time to tell some of them. It wasn't only a bad choice. It was a dumb choice.

I concur; I thought a lot of this was anticipated in Kill me Now, the third episode of the series, which clearly delineated, at least for me, the differences in personality and outlook between Rory and Lorelai.

I concur. And I think we've had some indication of this with Mitchum's "sous-chef who quit story", which for me was an "anvil" for what's about to happen to Logan about as subtle as a mallet to the head.
