A couple of other things I noticed while doing the TS, no talk with Sookie about the break-up, I wanted her reaction, especially after last week. And did anyone else see the nuts Emily had hidden behind the books in Richards office LOL

ETA - Oh was anyone else half expecting Lorelai to find some tax scam or something like in Brothers & Sisters when she got on to the computer He-he.

They always give it titles, and we know Lorelai takes over the baby shower planning because Rory has to leave for The NY Times interview. Also there IS an additional scene shown, where Lorelai is surprised / touched by something that Rory tells her - according to the clothes and lighting, I'm guessing it's Rory sharing something positive about the interview she'd just come back from.

Its their tag for the episode, doesn't always relate the promo clip.

Jason wasn't it something like 6% watch it later.
That is correct.

which is about 1/4 million on this weeks rating.
This part is conjecture, especially with Idol in the picture. Nielsen's initial figures for Tivo/delayed viewing were indeed around 6% mark.

Are you talking about Tivo/delayed viewing? Haven't seen anyone suggest that suddenly surged to 29% of viewers - yikes! Hoping I misunderstood this exchange?

caf the 1/4 million is if you take 6% of the 4 million they got this week in the ratings = 240 000. But yes it all depends on the final numbers and % that week but there are a lot watching later, not including VRC, DVD and I guess online has to make up some of it.

ETA - and the DCC, I'm hoping for the girls walking through SH and the call if we can't have one of L&L

I know what you meant. But it's dangerous to extrapolate merely because the initial percentage was 6%! It makes no more sense to guesstimate delayed viewers than to guesstimate ALL the ratings numbers on the basis of past performance, lol.

That initial 6% gives a ballpark indication, which is why I said it's so unlikely to have quintupled to 29% in just a few weeks (I still suspect some kind of misunderstanding there).

Nielsen doesn't care about online viewers; they don't really care who watches the programming, lol. They're interested in advertising exposure - as is TheCW, because that's what pays the bills.

It's a business not an artistic judgment.

Yes, you're right. And because of that, I'd like to remind, that we tried to avoid "partial" titles in the past. Who's "We"? You, but me also. You seem to love Logan's buns, I prefere Luke's "best butt in Connecticut". What's now? Maybe more "kayak" titles?
(Because we don't have new spoilers..... )

Thanks for the the professor's reminder, Mag, but I didn't vote. Maybe next time we will all remember this reminder of yours and then *maybe* you will be pleased then.

Try not to take offense Mag, it is all in fun and humor, right? Or else we wouldn't be watching Gilmore Girls and reading these boards week after week.

I didn't vote for this title. But if I didn't understand wrong what we need to avoid are the offensive titles that bash characters or that could insult someone.
Different posters prefer different characters and like some storylines better than others. That's why we vote to choose our titles.

Thought we should pick up neutral title.

I know it's for fun. All titles are for fun.

Then why don't we break the neutral title rule and pick up FUN title, no matter who they are about?

And don't get me wrong: I prefer Luke's butt, but count me in the Logan's bun bandwagon too

People, it's a play on words...Logan ate CINNIMON BUNS in the episode. Lighten Up! Not everything is meant as an insult.

I'm 12, I thought it meant the cinammon buns Rory made for his birthday.

That is definitely what I thought when I voted for the title.
