I can't get over the blatent duplicating of having a Luke/Kirk haggling about money - as in the toast battle two years ago...nothin' new there.

And, I wonder if Lorelai will be the one to get Mrs. Kim to come around this time - again....as in Liz' wedding episode. No new ideas means no 8th season to me. I would have even preferred they had had Emily become ill and wind up in the hospital so we could see how Richard handled his daily life without her running it for him...since he has periodically referred to what she does with her time as frivolous - I would have liked to see Richard/Lorelai dynamic not the same old Emily/Lorelai stuff where Lorelai helps out, Emily is nice for a few minutes then reverts back to old nasty self.

Oh well...it is what it is.

Remember: I hated Rory and Logan more than any JJ ever. Also, seriously, you are another person who gives Rory all sorts of crap for what happened at the end of season four. Yet, you as an LL, will most likely let Lorelai slide on what she did this year, as you bathe in the light of LL REUNIFICATION. Again, stuff like this, drives me nuts, as a Gilmore Girls fan.). Instead of giving something a chance, people like you -- as well as most people on the net -- cloak yourself inside of this air of closed-mindedness that does nothing more than infuriating someone trying to have a dialogue with you. If you are not going to change how you feel, then why share how you feel? Obviously there is something going on with this couple in terms to the passionate and rather defensive tone VOLTRON's FAN respond with towards post such as yours. Yet, because it's your opinion, that's supposed to make it all right? Especially when it's not an opinion but an argument you are making for why SOMETHING SUCKS.

Again, it's easy to fill in all the blanks around here. Some of us are better at it than others. However, I am more down with understanding an other's point of view, then these rather odd defensive (in lue of you using your opinion as if it were a SHIELD) post that rip something I love apart, then try to take a swipe at me in the process.

Again, there is more going on then one side of this story, but please be SO PROUD of your ability to be closed-minded. You should get that put into a bumper sticker, and place it on your car. So other people around the city in which you live will know that YOU ARE CLOSED-MINDED and PROUD OF IT.

I'm sure that poster didn't enjoy being lectured by you, and I sure didn't enjoy reading the above diatribe. You seem like an intelligent guy, but I find these kinds of posts from you to be the epitome of an intimidating and bullying post.

I want to make one thing clear to you and to everyone: we’re serious when we say that we want people to treat their fellow posters with the same respect and consideration that they’d want for themselves. Like I said in the post that I addressed to all the Gilmore Girls posters, respectful disagreement is fine, but personal attacks on your fellow posters is not fine, and I consider the above post to be a personal attack.

The purpose of this message board is to discuss spoilers. If you want to lecture a fellow poster here, do it via Private Message, or better yet, don’t do it at all. Thank you.

Most LL fans don't know how to leave things alone and ignore posts that are condescending. And Most RL fans defend posters such as Jason who insult LL fans just because most LL fans don't seem to "ship" Rory and Logan.

I brought this up on this thread again because this was brought to my attention by one of the Spoilers board moderators, and the thread that it was posted on was closed. I thought it was an important issue, and as the site Administrator, I feel I have the right to step in when I feel an issue needs to be addressed. I'd also like to know how we don't have the same rules for everyone here? Everyone is expected to treat their fellow posters with respect here, and that applies to every thread on every message board on this website. I want people to discuss spoilers and speculate on the upcoming episodes of the various television shows that have threads here, pure and simple. I don't want people to insult each other or talk down to other posters. The Spoilers board moderators do a great job here, but when they need my support, I can and will support them.
