Why not? Kirk was an eyewitness to a few really important scenes in L&L relationship. The first kiss for example! Every time I see Kirk, Luke and Lorela together, I know, something will happen!

Thanks for that, I did have a lot more in the email but I guess they are sick of people asking about Lorelai and the diner.

Interesting: there's a lot about gas in last episodes. First, Richard's jaguar was a little low on gas and Emily asked Luke to fill the tank. For the second time, it was Lorelai, who was out of gas. If she had a cell phone, would she call Luke for help?

We could only hope she'd call Luke but I doubt it.

So MA made it clear no Luke at Mia's wedding but I also asked why?, guess he doesn't know. I hope they give and answer better than "he was busy with April"!

Well, if April is in town, I wouldn't think he would have time. I assume she is flying in on Friday night and flying out on Sunday evening. (I think their arrangement is strange.)

I don't think she was ok with it -- I think it showed she accepted and respected Rory's decision, but didn't necessarily agree with it. She hadn't seen Rory all summer, so she wasn't about to get into a disagreement over it.

The storyline recycling is pretty funny - wonder if we'll see the the re-enacters re-enacting the re-enactment.

They can, however, re-enact the WiTS ep all they want. I'll have no problem with that. Yes, I'm shallow.

I can't get over the blatent duplicating of having a Luke/Kirk haggling about money - as in the toast battle two years ago...nothin' new there.

And, I wonder if Lorelai will be the one to get Mrs. Kim to come around this time - again....as in Liz' wedding episode. No new ideas means no 8th season to me. I would have even preferred they had had Emily become ill and wind up in the hospital so we could see how Richard handled his daily life without her running it for him...since he has periodically referred to what she does with her time as frivolous - I would have liked to see Richard/Lorelai dynamic not the same old Emily/Lorelai stuff where Lorelai helps out, Emily is nice for a few minutes then reverts back to old nasty self.

Oh well...it is what it is.
