I get Lemon's point--Why are the two of you snarking because I quoted a post?

Are only certain posters allowed to quote? Was caf's post a secret? Is it close-minded to quote someone and agree with them?

WTF is going oooooonnnnnn?

I agree they are mature, maybe too much, we'll what happens over the next few eps, I know they are okay (or look like it) in HBM but I'm thinking it won't be all smooth sailing till the end of the season.

You should face your challenges, not run from them.

Remember, I come in peace.
Blowing off steam for a weekend doesn't mean he won't do that. We don't know what's going to happen but it doesn't appear to remotely resemble Rory taking a break from school (which, I still think, was something she needed to do). It's Logan's version of the Gilmore wallow. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Rory should be sensitive to what Logan's relationship with Mitchum is. Again, we don't know how this plays out. But if she literally gangs up on him with his father, that's not ok.

Uh no because they are in a committed relationship. Unlike your SACRED AND BLESSED COUPLE, these two do not have 20 plus years of collective baggage going against them. The only storm coming...is the storm of WEDDING BELLS...BOOYEAH! ETA: Hawk, what's going on is...WE ARE NOT THE COOL KIDS! The cool kids in terms are picking on us. Freakin cool kids...[kicks a can].

Thanks for the heads up, fox. This is really great:

As if Lorelai's sudden burst of maturity and wisdom wasn't enough to signal that a new era of enlightenment was about to dawn in Stars Hollow, earlier in the episode Rory and her boyfriend Logan had one of the most civilized exchanges about mutual trust ever between young twenty-somethings in a television series. Rory admitted that she is attracted to the grad student who has taken over grandfather Richard's economics class at Yale following Richard's recent heart attack. Logan appreciated Rory's honesty, understood that she hadn't acted on her feelings and then admitted that he has been attracted to other women during his relationship with Rory but hasn't done anything because he loves her. There were no histrionics from either side. These two should get married. Tomorrow.

Just a warning for the unspoiled -- the new TV Guide (with "Brothers & Sisters" on the cover) has a little blurb about an upcoming GG episode. It's the "Ask Ausiello" column and it's a few pages in (at least it's not on the cover this time).
So we might get something later tonight.

Does anyone have the printed TVGuide?

They were referring to the information that Ausiello stated in last week's column was in this week's print edition.

Telling myself what? That you dislike a couple that's functional because you find them too perfect? Really? Aw come on. There's no winning for losing with you people!

The Mitchum/Logan confrontation is on-screen. Later, Logan quits.

No, keep telling yourself that Rory and Logan's bread will always land with the buttered side up when they drop it.

I don't mind RL but seriously, it so sickly sweet right now how can it not be headingn to tears and tantrums ... it's TV formula and how could a smart TV knowledgable guy like yourself not see that. Or do you see it but are to proud to admit it?

For what it's worth - I prefer my couples with a little bit of baggage....it makes them more interesting. Of course I could live with a little less baggage than LL have but honestly do you really, truely find the "You're pretty.....no you're pretty" conversations that seem to sum up RL right now interesting??? Really? If so, you really aren't the thinker that I thought you were. RL would be a much more compelling couple if they had to put their solid, mature foundation to the test. I feel that is about to happen....I am not saying they will break up but surely they are about to be pushed as a couple and then we will get to see if the "perfectness" is as perfect as it appears. Then they will be interesting.

Of course YMWillV

I think you both have a point. I think he has to learn to handle business failure, because they do happen. They're part of playing the game. And Rory has to get that, as Logan did during the rift, you say your peace in the nicest way possible, not during a fight, and then stand by your man/woman.

And you keep telling yourself of their impending doom while we watch Rory & Logan head off in style & you watch L/L finally kiss again in the last 5 minutes of the show. Drama does not have to mean DOOOOOOM. But, hey, see what you want.
