The Podcast: Well, MA's not on, so a little lacking, no scoop, just their opinions, probably not worth the DL, but anyways. They talked about ChinChin's death. And how Scully, on FX, had the same type of dog. They (Angel and Matt, basically) said how they just want to get over the CL stuff here, and not have this dragged out anymore. And they liked how well Chris handled the end, but he still didn't redeem himself. They talked about how they stick with their favorite shows until the very end even XF, after someone wrote in that saying after CL ended they were now leaving GG.

Scully did not have a chow. But I also stick with my shows, so I guess they aren't that bad.

If the studio has that attitude towards AB, then I don't expect them to make an effort to keep her. To bad that it will be our loss, and not their's.

Somebody wrote in blasting Ausiello for claiming that the death was funny. Since he wasn't there, nobody knew what the writer was talking about.

It seems silly to me to be judging actors based on the probably miniscule piece of the puzzle that we know anything about. Sure, we can and will speculate. But to completely write them off as selfish or jerks when we definitely don't have all, or most, of the information seems unneccessary.

ITA! I'm assuming Sassy's source is a tech on the set, so the same question would apply, how are they privy to the details of the negotiations? I think we are receiving set gossip, and who knows how accurate any of it is.

I thought these negotiations at upper levels are hush, hush, and that even the actors themselves do not talk about them. I'm certainly not going to consider LG or AB as selfish, when all I have to base it on is gossip.

not much here to add. it sounds like lauren and alexis NEED to make up their minds about an 8th season. its not very considerate for the rest of the cast and crew to be waiting to see if they need to find other jobs or if GG is coming back one more year.

They may have a public e-mail. I think fans who participated in the save Everwood campaign sent Dawn Ostroff lots of e-mails.

I don't think she's the greatest actress but she is a perfect Rory, IMO. I haven't really seen her other projects...but she does deserve the chance to get out there and spread her wings, regardless of whether she'll succeed or fail. And I have to support her because she's from my hometown
