I’d like to remind you all that this is the main Gilmore Girls spoiler thread, and as such, posters from various shipper groups are free to post here, so if you see someone saying something that you don’t like about “your” favorite character or couple, don’t start fighting with them on this thread, and don’t go into a Gilmore Girls shipper thread if you don’t like the couple that the shipper thread is for. People are free to criticize upcoming events on Gilmore Girls as they read the upcoming spoilers, but don’t use this thread as a free-for-all to bash any characters or couples that you don’t like, or their fans, or you’ll find that you’ll be deprived of the privilege of reading and speculating about Gilmore Girls spoilers again here. Episode 7.15 - I'm a Kayak, Hear Me Roar

The CW: THE ROAD TO RECOVERY ─ At a Friday night dinner, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) works up the courage to tell her parents about the break-up of her marriage, but is derailed by their argument over the healthy meals and no-alcohol policy Emily (Kelly Bishop) has instituted to help Richard (Edward Herrmann) recover from his heart attack. Lorelai enlists Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) to bring Richard healthy but delicious meals, then helps Emily organize Richard’s business affairs. Over a shared bottle of scotch, Lorelai finally tells her mother about the breakup of her marriage. Rory (Alexis Bledel) attends an awkward birthday dinner for Logan (Matt Czuchry) with Mitchum Huntzberger (guest star Gregg Henry), who asks her to help him steer Logan in the right direction. Later, Logan receives disturbing news about the online company he purchased. Finally, Luke (Scott Patterson) shares his home with Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite), T.J. (Michael DeLuise) and their baby daughter while their house is being fumigated. Liza Weil and Sean Gunn also star. (#2T7765).

TVGuide: Lorelai and Rory attend Friday-night dinner, where Lorelai is reluctant to tell her mom about her and Christopher's marital problems. But Emily has enough on her plate when the recuperating Richard complains about his dietary restrictions and Emily's strict no-alcohol rule. Meanwhile, Rory plans a birthday celebration for Logan, whose dad calls to invite him and Rory to dinner instead; and Liz and T.J. stay with Luke while their home is fumigated because of a moth infestation.

TVRage.com: At Friday night dinner, Lorelai finally decides to tell her parents that her marriage to Christopher has fallen apart, but doesn't get a chance to when an argument breaks out over Emily's new healthy, no-alcohol meals to help Richard recover from his heart attack. Lorelai gets Sookie to cook healthy and tasteful meals for Richard and Lorelai helps Emily with Richard's various business affairs. While helping her mother, Lorelai finally admits to Emily that her marriage to Christopher is over. Meanwhile, Rory attends Logan's birthday dinner and has an awkward encounter with Mitchum who asks Rory to keep Logan on track. Logan later receives disturbing news about an online company he recently purchased. Elsewhere, T.J., Liz, and the baby stay with Luke while their house is fumigated.

Futon Critic & CW: A BABY SHOWER, A JOB INTERVIEW AND A BOAT TRIP - While she is in the midst of planning Lane's (Keiko Agena) baby shower, Rory (Alexis Bledel) gets a long-awaited call from The New York Times offering her an informational interview. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) takes over the shower-planning duties, and finds herself brokering peace between Lane and Mrs. Kim (Emily Kuroda) over how Lane plans to raise her twins. Logan (Matt Czuchry) finally admits his business disaster to Rory, who offers him her full support, but when Logan announces that he is flying to Las Vegas to blow off steam with his old college pals Colin and Finn, Rory is disappointed and worried. When Luke (Scott Patterson) discovers that Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite) and T.J. (Michael DeLuise) are trying to sell his boat, he decides to make some changes in his life and take April (Vanessa Marano) on a long boat trip over the summer. Finally, Lane is put on bed-rest and must be wheeled through Stars Hollow in her bed to attend the shower at Miss Patty's (Liz Torres). Melissa McCarthy and Sean Gunn also star.

Rory has a fight with Logan (Matt Czuchry) over his immature reaction to his business disaster, and agrees to go on the trip with Lorelai. Emily (Kelly Bishop) invites herself along in an effort to get away from Richard (Edward Herrmann), who is driving her crazy while he recuperates at home. At the wedding, Emily is upset by the close relationship Mia shares with Lorelai and Rory. Lorelai learns that Emily came to see Mia five years earlier to ask for pictures of Lorelai and Rory during the years they were estranged. Logan makes a surprise appearance and asks Rory to forgive him. Meanwhile, Lane (Keiko Agena) and Zack (Todd Lowe) ask Luke (Scott Patterson) to be the godfather to their twins. Finally, Lane goes into labor and Luke helps get everyone to the hospital. Sean Gunn also stars. Lee Shallat Chemel directed the episode written by David Babcock

I wonder if there is a strike could it affect when S8 goes into production also, if we get it. Meaning if they work over the summer the cast will not be able to have a break or take on other work.

Studios are said to be exploring the feasibility of moving the start of production of returning broadcast series from August to late May or early June, though no formal requests have been made. The plan is still in the feeling-out stage as a shortened time off could create problems for series stars, who often use the summer hiatus to do features.

With the striking Craig, the writers are very weary of digital media. They are really really worried about their not being enough protection for them. They are also rather put out by reality TV, and how the writers of most reality TV shows are non-union. There are a myriad of problems going on with the WGA right now. I would be shocked if they moved the filming of shows up. SAG might freak the **** out on that move. Whateverthecase, I am going with for the now on. There is a season eight. They are working out the terms right now. This is total conjecture. Nevertheless, it would make no sense for Kim and Lauren to hold-out.

Well Jason I don't watch reality programming 'cause I really don't see the point, I mean it's that what life is for? If you have one LOL.

With all due respect to the reports I think we are still missing something with the whole season 8 negotiations, the WB went through this last season and ASP/DP call their bluff and walked, can they of the CW afford to lose one of their top shows?
