So yeah, that's what she said about Lauren (I remember distinctly a season 5 interview...around episode 100).

Otherwise, I don't see much of a description of this character, except for what I've read in the pilot sides (thanks, Nadine). She sounds like an obnoxious, selfish, stuck-up version of Lorelai so far . They're completely different characters. I don't see anything remotely redeeming about this character. And Parker Posey? I haven't seen all her work, but whenever I do her characters always act like they have a stick up their ass. So I'm kind of expecting that of Jezebel whatsherface.

Lorelai was young-at-heart, family oriented, a loving mother, a dedicated member of the community...there was much to love about her. I don't really care about the trials and tribulations of a woman who would rather get her sister to drop everything in her life for 9 months to have her baby, rather than doing a humane, caring thing like adopting. And IF the big twist at the end of the 9 months is that she decides she'd rather adopt, then it's ridiculously stupid.

I saw an Ellen lookalike at Walt Disney World when I went over the Christmas holiday, who seemed single and had a 5 year old...whom she adopted. Cutest kid, Oriental, I think. Or Asian. Rough childhood before she was adopted. And the pair, the mother and daughter...so loving and adorable. I'd rather watch them than this stuck-up character trying to raise a baby while still working (and if she DOES manage to work, you betcha she's hiring a nanny or taking the biokid to a nursery...

A much better title would be something like "Parker Posey cast in Gilmore Creator's New Show." The one they are using makes it sound like she's joining the cast of Gilmore Girls.

Wow. Really nice guys. Really nice. We don't DARE mention anything even remotely hinting at LG's personal life because she is a PERSON, not a character, but you can just go hog wild insulting Parker Posey because she DARES to get a job with ASP? I happen to like Parker Posey, and really think the "stick in her ass" and "Lorelai with a lisp" comments are tacky and uncalled for.

Heh. I actually keep picturing "Jackie O" as Jezebel. I am just amused by ASP using her same little description about why she is lucky to have Lauren and Parker. Plus I am pissed that ASP has cast someone I do enjoy, and thus will feel compelled to check in on at least once. Damn her, ruining my plan not to even give it a chance.

I think they were talking about her acting, not her as a person: "her characters always act like they have a stick up their ass. "

Rory has a fight with Logan over his immature reaction to his business disaster, and agrees to go on the trip with Lorelai. Emily invites herself along in an effort to get away from Richard, who is driving her crazy while he recuperates at home.

At the wedding, Emily is upset by the close relationship Mia shares with Lorelai and Rory. Lorelai learns that Emily came to see Mia five years earlier to ask for pictures of Lorelai and Rory during the years they were estranged. Logan makes a surprise appearance and asks Rory to forgive him. Meanwhile, Lane and Zach ask Luke to be the godfather to their twins. Finally, Lane goes into labor and Luke helps get everyone to the hospital.

Parker Posey was also in The House of Yes, Best in Show, Party Girl, and Dazed and Confused.

Does this mean that "Anna" is still not completely tied up? Was all the SF is going to be on her new show just a joke? Sad.
